Remember reading about it I hope the club thanked Carlton for passing on RichardsReportedly Carlton passed on drafting Richards because he was late to an interview after getting stuck in traffic.

So you're saying IF all it took to get Houston was pick 13, you wouldn't do it?If we spent 13 on Houston I’d throw up. Need to hit the draft!!

That's insane.
I like the irony that he's turned into a gun inside mid for us because of his capabilities in heavy traffic ...Reportedly Carlton passed on drafting Richards because he was late to an interview after getting stuck in traffic.
West Coast hasn't told Malakai Champion if they plan to nominate him
Might be a good small forward option
Urquhart in the 3rd round please and thank you.
Urquhart has been a personal favourite of mine all year, hopefully he falls in our laps.I wouldn't mind taking a punt on him late, I've heard his attitude/commitment is not up to standard at the moment though.
Total opposite to Champion. He will interview well also which makes me think he probably won't be available then.
Rhys Unwin has tested pretty well. Might be worth a punt later. Liked him in the first few quarters of the NAB league granny just faded a bit later in the game.AFL DRAFT COMBINE RESULTS 2024

Knocks are on his skills. Not the cleanest player in the world, probably sitting in the 30-50 range.Looks like a good mid going by U18 champ highlights.
Foot skills questionable.
What are his knocks? Draft range?

Pretty much always been in contention. He is one of the midfielders that I have had on my list as taller mids later in the draft than the first round along with Jack Ough either of those two would be alright in my opinionFor our second rounder I’d be all over him.
Good size, looks to move from inside to outside stoppage/contests pretty quickly.
Is he latish bloomer or always been in contention?

He is quicker than the bloke who just won a Brownlow. Just got to get the balance right between the quicker inside to outside players and the bulls that clear the path for them and give them enough space to do that.I think Ough is a bit too slow for us, need to find quicker mids now days.
