AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
Amarty the most vulnerable imo
The player we seem incapable of replacing is JPK.
Neale and Ashcroft completely destroyed us in tight and that was basically the beginning, middle, and end of the game. If Heeney wasn't going off, we were no chance.
There were warning signs all year that a game like this would happen (again). Even back to round 3 when Taranto did whatever he wanted.

I mentioned this last night but it seems unlikelyHe just led our goalkicking for the season. Surely Logan, as another with trade value, when looked at in the cold light of day, is another we could ship out.
All week they were talking up Grundy as likely to dominate. I knew all Fort needed to do was be competitive and that wouldn't happen.Foot and Daniher both taking the ball out of the ruck and kicking it forward creating two goals for one in both the first and second was also critical.
God knows what would have happened if the big o hadn’t have got injured.
We actually need a ruck to be able to compete - what do we need to do to get young green ready ?
Yep. Wasn't impressed with Grundy for the 2nd half of the season TBH.Foot and Daniher both taking the ball out of the ruck and kicking it forward creating two goals for one in both the first and second was also critical.

That would be nice but I doubt it.Oliver, he'll be back to his best soon enough. Also the type of mid we need
I'm not sure if it would be nice actually. If he was over ALL his issues then perhaps. That would be nice but I doubt it.
I think Logan the defender is a possibility
I'm sort of wondering if he'd be a lock down and free up T Mc to intercept or whether he can intercept
We never really replaced Paddy
Should petition the AFL to let us draft King a year early.
He would be our most dangerous key forward.
Yes, I suspect we are waiting for him but the problem is after we draft him he likely won't be able to really hold his position until around 2028.
I see it differently.Arguably Logan's best game at the club was the prelim before he got injured.
I think moving him to defence would be removing our best hope at finding a reliable key forward.
I see it differently.
Logan’s deficiency is his strength and pack marking.
His positives are his athleticism and tank (plus footy smarts and a decent kick).
He’s suited to getting around the ground.
Not really what you’re after in a KPD.
Tmac has been atrocious this year . Melican was sensational and rarely put a foot wrongMelican now seems to be our best defender
TMc has dropped off a bit
Rampe was... far out
I mentioned this last night but it seems unlikely
That's the standard Swans MO.I think Logan the defender is a possibility

Yeah I thought melican was close to our best.Melican now seems to be our best defender
TMc has dropped off a bit
Rampe needs less responsibility
Yeah McCartin has been awful.Tmac has been atrocious this year . Melican was sensational and rarely put a foot wrong
You answered your own questionI get this is a hypothetical thread but can some suggestions at least make some sense? we just signed Logan to a 2yr deal, Amartey a 3yr deal and Mclean 4yrs.
We arent shipping either of them
