The no dickhead policy was obviously thrown out the window when we traded in Ladhams.Smith wouldn't be welcome with us as we have a no dickhead policy and he is one
I think Essendon did very well out of that swap of picks.
For their first rounder.Hypothetical (Very)
Ladhams to St Kilda given they have pulled out of the Soldo conversation
If he doesn't sign an extension PSD is the most likely outcome if WC are last or second last.Unlike Adelaide WC aren't going to you know what us. Freo's picks are utter trash. I'm hoping they waste them all on Bolton, etc so they are left with nothing of value.
Chad isn't Free Agency so that's irrelevant to him, it's a trade or PSD (won't happen) or a National draft nomination (with terms, Luke Ball the last instance this occurred it's extremely rare)
North wanted #44 for the offer pitched to Bulldogs for Daniel. It was said the Dogs knocked back an offer of #25 & #44.
Swans need to hold firm on what they want because Daniel isn't better than Parker even with the 3 year age difference.

Why would Chad want the team he is going to to give away real high draft picks?? He'd want them to have as many good players as possible.
No, because we would accept something (as we should) before it gets to that, like we did with Dawson, even if it's unders.Everyone says this every single season there is no way it ebnds in the PSD, not a chance on earth

If he could just do us a favour next year and not nominate a club but just the state to get the best deal for us would be greatthat is the one deal I'm confident is fair WCE are one of the best to trade with
They may be better than the Crows but it doesn't mean it will be fair. They have very little reason to be. It's not like they're going to have any OOC NSW based players wanting to return home and we're going to be cellar dwellers in the near future to make them give us market rate.that is the one deal I'm confident is fair WCE are one of the best to trade with

Freo would just be in the background to make WCE not just offer a dumb first round pick.Agree with that, and I'm going straight to WCE not even dealing with Freo
You seem to believe there is some moral principle guiding the Eagles that makes them offer multiple firsts. Two firsts (or the value of two firsts) is more than reasonable. We may even if we have to trade with WCE get a pick before the academy kids.
Oh OK. I must have misheard that. Makes more sense. That wasn't the offer for starters
It was #25 for Daniel and pick 48 (WB)
The pick 44 from North wasn't involved

Why is the Kelly deal relevant?Clubs don't want to completely burn relations, yes sometimes you take a bit unders or a bit overs. WCE are always fair enough. Look at the Tim Kelly deal.

Why is the Kelly deal relevant?
Different list boss, completely different circumstances.
Eagles thought they were in the window still, so picks mattered less than an established star, and the PSD wasn't anywhere near the same option, with them making a semi and Freo much lower.
Eagles are now in a rebuild, have the PSD option, so why not get a gun player AND not have to pay fair value.
Well, it's not true anyway, just saying "Ladhams". As if we wouldn't take Smith if he had an interest, the kid's a star.I really hate this policy just saying, I get it but I hate it if you know what I mean. Unfortnately the same token we won't get Stringer, I'd much rather him than 3/4 of our forwards.
So why not get Warner AND keep an extra quality pick? They get Warner, they are close to a window again, a top 3 pick this year, plus Warner plus Reid. That's a scary midfield for starters, have the AA forward in Waterman and a glut of smalls. Possibly need to get a defender or two, but they are one side if you look deeper aren't far away.
Smith is a mirage. Looks like there is so much cool refreshing stuff there, but when you get closer there is nothing worthwhile.Well, it's not true anyway, just saying "Ladhams". As if we wouldn't take Smith if he had an interest, the kid's a star.
