Busy day today

Gallagher, Freijah, English, Clark, Young

Amon, Connor Mac, McAuliife

Errol (C), Chad, Heeney, Dawson, Dowling (probably the most important game as I could cash in massively)
I’ve got all of Ryan, Clark, Young and Serong first up. Hope it’s a fantasy friendly game.

Who was your VC?

Didn’t see the game last night but were there any other reasons Steeles role was changed? Did he get a tag? Someone also mentioned elsewhere that he might have been running with Zorko in the second half hence the time spent forward?

Was tagged by Berry first half. Barely spent any time in the middle in the last qtr as the Saints mixed it up and put pace in there. It worked pretty well so might be a concern

Interesting what they do when NWM comes back. Ross loves Bonner
Not on last nights performance ....it's clear, the future is Schoenmaker, not Bonner, who made many mistakes

Fair but he really can’t play anywhere else. Moving him out of there was best for this game because he was getting shut down anyway.

Last couple have been worrying but he’s still up the higher end for Saints scores. They just haven’t had as much of a fantasy friendly style lately.

The bye makes me want to trade him but I still think he’s a hold. Who else are we getting instead?

I'm not too bad for next week so hadn't really thought about trading but if I did would probably go to Merrett who's pretty much the same price.

If Rozee looks good this week could make some cash going to him too

It mostly due to the tag he moved forward. It was pretty impressive he got to 74 to be honest. There's a few reasons for concern though.

The saints started scoring goals as soon as he moved out of the midfield. Might be a light bulb moment for Ross to mix up the midfield and move out slow plodders for guys who can explode from stoppage.

My second concern would be even if he doesn't lose CBA's do other teams sit someone on him now? A lot of the value in Steele is he never gets tagged.

But he has Port right after the bye (Drew) then Sydney (Rowbottom maybe?), Essendon rd 20 (Setterfield?), Brisbane rd 21 (Berry again), Carlton rd 24 (Cincotta). I am bailing on him next week. I don't see the upside to keeping him

I’ve kept Rozee in the back pocket for next week too, could open up a lot of trade possibilities

Will pretty much have one mid missing next week in Dawson

Was at the game last night. Def noticed a change in St Kildas gameplan in the 2nd half.

They manned up in defence. Often saw lions player have the ball in the back pocket and not 1 free player in their def 50. Very different play from first half and all of last week.

Explains Zorko slowing down.

Explains Zorko slowing down.

He was also rested a lot in the second half. Finished with only 81% ToG (not sure what his usual is) and I'd say almost all of that 19% bench time would have been in the second half. At one stage was off for 10 mins straight, was frustrating watching a monster score slip away.

I broke Luke Ryan. Sorry all.

Sent from my iPhone using BigFooty.com

He only scored 86 points on the Dogs in round 4.

Bad matchup. So many tall forwards means he can't play his normal role. I'm surprised so many traded him in for this game specifically
