Nothing to worry about

Some interesting games today, might try to get my 'responsibilities' for the day outa the way early and get set for a triple header! Thankfully the ridiculous constant heavy rain of yesterday seems to have dissipated, and I have a stash of dry firewood. So, big backyard fire in the highest part of the swamp(!), might even debone some birds for spicy charcoal chicken, spuds in the coals, corn on the grill, bust out some salads, yes, yes, yes. Beers on hand and a bottle of gin.

Of course the true reasoning behind all this is that I'll be pleasantly charged and carefree by the time the third game comes around, ifyouknowwhatimean. And as fellow Saints supporters I'm sure you do. Though I must say I'm feeling strangely semi-confident about this one, the boss and big Max under the pump all week, hoping to see a positive response. Would dearly love to see Collard kick the first goal of the game!

It's nice to actually enjoy watching this sport. It can be a great spectacle when you've got teams playing like the swans did last night

Brian Taylor is of such a poor standard as a commentator, he sounded so bored and so deflated in the game in the second half, just ruins the vibe of what looked like a pretty pumped up atmosphere and some very slick footy at the SCG.

I literally just listen on mute these days.

Really impressive how the Swans have bounced back from the 2022 GF. You could tell it was before their time and a lesser team could have ended up in the wilderness for a while.

But 2 years later they're gonna be right up there.

We want the umpires to umpire the final 5 minutes the same way as the rest of the match. Good on the one in the filth game for calling it how he saw it.

Having said that I think it was a howler, line ball maybe but the umpires have only enforced that rule to obvious 25m runs for as long as I've known.
