Longmire just does not value clearances, never really has. He is perfectly happy losing clearances and winning the turnovers. The problem is in Grand Finals the other team dominates us in the clearances and does not turn it over that much.

There was always something wrong with this team. That dreadful period towards the end of the season exposed our soft underbelly and showed we were never as good as we thought we were. The Port game underlined that very emphatically. This isn’t really an aberration. Sadly we’re just not quite good enough and don’t deserve the flag this season. There are far too many deficiencies right across the ground.

Watching then just clear the ball in every single centre clearance - fucj sake just hit it forward stop with the pretend taps round the back to heeney - he’s not able to shake the tag.

It was never sam Reid in 2022 it was his stupid set up and this set up is even worse. Just absolutely embarrassing to kick to Parker one on one with Andrew’s and they have no alternative options because they’re set up so bloody terribly.

But they know and we know that we kick it long they just sweep it away because of his stupid tactics
