Am I being naive here - why is no one mentioning Brandon Ryan? Didn't we basically get him as retirement planning for Joe? He's the right size, he kicked plenty in the VFL, surely this is his opportunity.

Think he's too similar to Hippy at this stage. Could play but his rucking and contested work at VFL level has been very poor

Will need a big preseason

We just need Brandon Ryan to become James Podsiadly in the off-season and we will be sweet.

With the number of defenders we have coming back next year, Payne might be an option up forward.
