I am sceptical of any "official links" to targets. Since Noble joined in to Daly/Ambrogio era our team is a vault. Very little gets out from our trading of drafting until it's done. I've met the team on numerous occasions and they give very very very little away.

Any links to us would come from the camp of the player joining us, or his family/friends, or the other club.
Agreed-I don’t recollect any BF background noise on Neale, Daniher or Dunkley until it became the real deal.

Im not sure he would want to come to us, but I just cant see how they keep all of Naughton, Darcy and JUH together on big money (let alone Bont and English). Even with salary cap increases you do wonder if they will get squeezed. Especially as they sit mid table - no real success but also not the biggest club deals for their players

Agent Dunks at work? Makes as much if not more sense than a few of the other names getting thrown around here.

Get him out of the big smoke and watch him flourish.

Would require a trade - don't think it's happening, would cost an arm and a leg.

If a trade is required, we'd be more likely to grab Mitch Lewis. Don't think that's happening either.

The longer this goes, Morris and Lloyd might fill out and settle into their roles.
We could answer the key forward prayers ourselves.

Something's gotta give. They panicked and gave Naughton a big deal because Sydney moved for him, and I think that will prove to be a mistake. As good as he is, he'll be the third best player in their key forward group within a few years.

Be interesting to see where Lloyd plays in the intra club games.
In his first season he started forward in the VFL then in defense as we were too tall in our forward line.
Later in the year he found himself on the wing for a reasonable amount of time also.
Kicked 14 goals 11 behinds in his 19 games
He would have had to adjust to the different positions coaching during his 1st year.

His best game probably in R12: 22 disposals (19k, 3hb), 14 marks, 3 goals 1 behind

I think he already is.

Gerard Healy believes Daniher may make an AFL comeback.

AFL great Gerard Healy says it would be in the best interest of the Brisbane Lions to keep some space in their salary cap for 2026 as he believes Joe Daniher could backflip on his decision to retire. The forward announced five days after winning the AFL premiership that he was walking away from the final year of his contract, leaving around $750,000 on the table.

He has been listening to The Roar Deal.
