In the incredibly unlikely world that we get Bolton and Pickett without losing anyone, does Walters just retire before season's start? No way he's getting ahead of any of Switta/Sturt/Freddy + Simpson will (hopefully) improve to good AFL depth and Emmett is always An Option. I don't see a world where Walters plays outside of injuries/the first 3 weeks while Kozzie is suspended. I especially don't see one where he's playing in any potential 2025 grand final side

Still a chance that if these two go through, Walter’s retires. And we keep him around as a specialist coach.

Switta was (allegedly) leaning towards Melbourne, but apparently has now decided to stay. Probably looked at that shit storm and went “nope”
Well if Pickett is any chance of happening then Switta neeeds to start leaning back the other way

He goes down and becomes an elite small forward at Peel Thunder with Nathan Wilson, helping Peel Thunder to back to back premierships.

Would you prefer Walters or Delean on our list?

What the f@%k is this nonsense. Shirley you're not serious. Where is the Heppell option?
He retired, and don’t call me Shirley

Feel like seeing these two “possibly” coming here will make him change his mind again and look at any VIC club tbh.

Reckon we are down the road a fair bit with Bolton, knowing how we operate we’ll prioritise him before Pickett in good faith. But if Richmond act like campaigners we need to flick the switch to prioritise Pickett cause I reckon Pickett is slightly more consistent.

Taking the radical third option and deciding that having neither on the list next year wouldn't bother me (and I like Delean)
Bastyy right now:

Wouldn't be surprised to see Bolton be one of the first trades done.

Switta on $600k?
No way he’s leaving if that’s true. Who on earth else is gonna pay him that?

That's a pretty standard salary for someone ranked around the 12-15 range in a best 22. It's about what our offer would be for Baker. Which hopefully we put in the bin if it is still on the table.

I feel like Delean was hyped up as a pretty good get last year, what happened?
He is only young, plenty of time to develop.

I was 💯 told Walters was retiring. No announcement mid week threw me off, but maybe he’ll do a post season one which I feel he doesn’t deserve. He deserved more than that.

I love Walters, you could argue he's a top 5 player all time for Fremantle, he's had such a sustained impaxt over his time in the league and at the club, I'd love to see him get an official retirement and farewell game, he's one of the best that we've ever had, but maybe he's decided to just do a quiet one, wants what is best for the team.
