Realistically there’s no room for him on the team if we get both Kozzy and Bolton. I’d prefer to keep him around if we only get one and Switta leaves though. Just because we have so little depth there.

It’s a shame though. Seems like a great guy great character when I’ve heard him speak but time isn’t on his side coming in as a mature age.

I like him, but he is inconsistent. He teases with form, then goes missing or screws up. The Bailey Banfield of small forwards.

Baker and West Coast would be crazy to do this. The club needs youth and Baker wants to go to the club he supported as a kid for what? To lose 18 games a season for the next 3 years and be apart of the worst period(On field) in their history? Makes no sense. If he picks them we dodged a bullet because clearly winning isn't a priority for him anymore.

He would have some kind of shot at the captaincy there, and certainty of a long career in best 23. With us he could end up like Aish and become superseded in a few years.

Last year I seem to remember Emmet getting damaging possessions further up the ground. I'm not sure he was played in that role this year.

If Bolton & Pickett come maybe there's an opportunity higher up the ground.

Can someone explain to me why Tyler Brockman is still unsigned at the Eagles. I know he has had issues and has been underwhelming. But did West Coast only offer him one year with a trigger? We apparently offered Brockman a 4-year deal.

Doubt he would be. He's not joining a club for one year when another club is offering him four. Just one of those trades where the timelength isn't reported on so footywire isn't accurate. Even took us a while to get confirmation Jackson was signed till 2029, with some people reporting 2027 for a while.

I think Fox Sports is getting its stuff somewhat from footywire? It's a generally decent source but can be flawed especially where contract lengths aren't explicitly announced by the club (idk if this is the case here).

I believe for a while footywire had Jackson having joined us on a 1 year deal, coz idk if it was publicly confirmed knowledge at the time that he had signed with us to 2029.

I've seen a couple online say he's "not worth it" because he gets suspended sometimes.
