Watching Mac Andrew have so much success with his body shape makes me hope we give Sebit Kuek another year. I know Mac is a different level of prospect to Sebba and you can't compare them, but he is seriously talented himself. Built into some really good form before doing his knee last year. Even watching a clip the club posted the other day - how easy he jumped over Jacko is seriously impressive.

I always had major concerns his body shape would not work at AFL as a key forward, as defenders could put a body on him and prevent him from jumping. But I think if forward doesn't work out, the prospect of moving him back is a decent option as it allows him generally a free jump at the ball playing in defense.

that's exactly how I felt

it's difficult to be politically correct, but having athletes from South Sudan (many have grown up in refugee camps) is something I am loving about the AFL at the moment.

Josh Treacy isn't a high priority extension for me. He has two years to run and an opposition club offer would set market value for his extension to end of 2029 which I'd be looking to lock in by end of next season anyway.

The idea that Freo would trade a two remaining years contracted, twenty one year old, blossoming key forward is crazy which is why nobody in media would suggest it. No club has enough top ten picks to accommodate it. No club would ever entertain it.

It's only Banfield who is out of contract, a free agent that we could lose to a bigger deal elsewhere. The following year we need to pay Moose more money. Brayshaw should be signed by Christmas
I'm confident we will be signing Banfield, now that he is getting regular games

He is b22 but if we are to contend, we need to keep our squad together. The likes of Pearce, Aish, Brayshaw, Sharp and Banfield are coming to the end of their contracts.Treacy will also need to be extended on big money. If we want Warner, we have to manage the cap very carefully to keep the squad together. Baker is a great to have but he will take a decent chunk out of our cap. It raises the question is it worth it.

Well the idea is we keep our core together and continue to build.
Of course I don’t want Baker if it means losing someone currently best 22.

I’m happy to suggest I may have got my Bolton over Chad comments completely wrong!

Just to clarify, I didn’t actually say Bolton was better just a better fit… but Chad is playing such good footy this year you could plonk him anywhere and he’ll make your team better.

How good is he though! Bolton is a great option as well but I'm well and truly Chadlocked now.

I’ve not watched a lot of Sydney, but Warner not doing much tonight.

One or two moments but that’s about it so far.

Swans have a really good bottom 6, seem to get something out of everyone.

Harsh critic, has 21 and a goal with 10 mins left in the third...

Yeh not been too damaging with his touches.

Maybe just rusty post bye I guess.

1 goal, 1 goal assist and 8 score assists to 3/4 time, that ranks elite. So far this year Warner is 3rd in the comp for goal assists with an average of 8.18 per game. The best is Heaney with 8.55. So Warner is on track to beat that by his game
