i think the losing players to 'homesickness' or 'partner influence' or 'the fashion industry' (heh) has us all gun-shy about our trading and over-focused on WA talent specifically, however unproven.

Both Chad and Corey are contracted until end of 2025. Gulden and McDonald out of contract end of 2024.

Assuming we have about one million in cap space, Macca would take most of that space up so could we even afford Warner?

There's also the question of if we have the picks required to land Warner. If we need an elite small forward in the 2024 draft we may need to borrow our 2025 picks to secure both Macca + small forward.

he was basically our sole KPF all of last year, not like he was going under the radar of oppos then, genuinely against the best KPDs week in week out not sure what makes you think hes only now going to be a 'target' of opposition? hes now a year older and bigger and more experienced, hes kicking 50 at least

Whilst I'd lover for him to prove us all wrong, I think he'll hover around the 45 goals mark. I'm hoping for more goals from Jackson/Treacy to bump our total goals up personally.

presuming our midfield improves like i expect it to with young + fyfe adding some grunt, amiss will get more looks at it and with his talent hell make the most of it. whether its a contested mark or a crumb snap at goal the kids got it all, no limits for him

Nick Larkey did it for North last year.

Curnow did it for the blues in 2022.

I'd say Amiss can sit firmly in their calibre of talent if he continues his current trajectory.

If Amiss can kick 24 goals across three games against West Coast and North it will go a long way.

What Amiss has done so far is massive. Even staying at the same level for 2-3 more seasons would be a great result.

Nah, stuff that. I'm expecting him to go full Jezz Cameron and kick 60 in his 3rd season.
