You've got to wonder about the quality of the KPP this year.

Don't care how good these mids/flankers/small forwards are, if you're a standout KPP prospect you're generally gone by now.

They're higher risk as they don't have a back up spot like mids do with the flanks.

Is it good or bad the Talls are Falling in the Draft for Collingwood?

You've got to wonder about the quality of the KPP this year.

Don't care how good these mids/flankers/small forwards are, if you're a standout KPP prospect you're generally gone by now.

Couple ways to look at it. I think it's a continuation of the devaluing of KPP in the draft. When there are good runners you're almost sure will make it, tough to go for a tall unless they're extremely good. Take longer and more difficult to get right.

Only two talls in the top 20 picks. Can see why Leppa was hopeful of getting an early 20s pick from GC.

There will definitely be very good talls in the draft, but the difficulty of picking them and the time they will take reduces their draft value.
