What I want for Christmas is.....

3 or 4 of the below players to bang the door down and by the end of the season take the places of Howe, Sidey, Titch, WHE, Cox etc

Allan, TJ, Jacbos, HDM, Reef, Parker, Steen, Dean, Smit, Harrison

I love the senior players listed above, however if we are to have a bright future, we need youth to push these club legends out of the team. They won't all make it, I'd settle for 3 or 4 for this season.
All this plus I need a new iPad

Who is Jacbos? I think you mean Jacobs. And therefore, who is Jacobs?

Maybe its a bit of both and he said he was on a diet to trim down and lose some size.
I do felt he had some much muscle, too much time in the gym post flag, I think he was in the gym days after.
Just seemed less agile to me - even before the toe injury.
If he's got the balance right now, it's gonna be like a new recruit.
Man, a back line of Moore, Howe, Maynard, Quaynor, Houston, maybe Jaicos & Reef?
Happy days.

Do people not realise McStay is literally the exact same size as Travis Cloke?

All these calls for a key forward and we have one

The issue is he’s been injured for at least half his time at the club. It when he’s actually had a chance to play (and especially in finals) he’s shown he’s more than capable of being the solution

He was incredible in last year’s finals

Forwards are fine, this teams forward line is better now then the team that won the flag.

Could use another defender and an inside mid to replace Mitchell.

That's it, this team is stacked and ready to win.

Put him down back and leave him there. He seems to be shining which is good. The Barrier Reef was always going to be a defender
I fear that the bleaching may overcome him.

In games where he gets over 70% TOG, he averages 8 disposals and 4 marks a game to go with a fairly tidy 1.8 goals per game.

Those numbers are actually more than respectable on the surface, but here's the difference: Dan McStay and Brody Mihocek average over a contested mark per game for us, Reef averages 0.5 in his full games, and has never had more than 1 in a game. Brody and Dan average around 2 inside 50s a game, Reef in his full games averages 1. Reef has also never recorded a clearance in his 20 games.

I think the footy IQ and understanding of running patterns is just not quite there as a forward - Hopefully as a defender with the game in front of him he can use his natural ability more and find a way to contribute more regularly.

I feel like Reefs goal per game average is pretty inflated by a bunch of Joe the gooses and loose balls out the back
