FYI all as we get closer to the draft and emotions get a bit more heightened and we all gravitate to other boards to see what our friends are posting, please keep the following in mind

If you are going to share thoughts posted on other club boards, please either screenshot or quote the post WITHOUT tagging the poster who posted it.

Additionally as we have said multiple times - once you leave the North board you are subject to the rules of whichever board you go to. You will be used to the way this board is moderated but other boards and other mods will have different thresholds and rules. Post at your own risk.

Paying pick 25 for a 29yo Caleb f****ng Daniel left them with zero currency to maneuver. Who's level 3 brain explosion was that??? That one decision left them to either overreach, or miss out on the type of players they NEED to actually be competitive in a game of football sometime this decade!

Ignoring Larkey (poor bugger), that rabble is going into 2025 with a KPP list of Cam "2 good games a year" Zurhaar, 19yo Zane Dursmaa, Callum "Richmond discard" Coleman-Jones, Aiden "please don't kick the ball" Corr, Griffen Logue off an ACL and an extremely washed Jack Darling.

Instead, they could have maneuvered picks 2 and 25 into 3 or likely even 4 picks between 6 and 30. Walked away with some combination of Tauru, Shanahan, Armstrong, Trainor and / or one or both Whitlocks. And with their F1 still intact!

Instead they get 1 gun mid, Jack Darling padding his superannuation and a midget to run around at half back.

Picks 3, 9, 14 were all on the table. Three clubs held multiple picks in the top 10. Another two have multiple picks in the teens. About half the AFL did pick swaps in or out of the first round, and they missed the boat on all of it!

Noooo. Lets wait until draft night. Maybe we can get 2 future 3rd rounders from Adelaide. That will really accelerate the rebuild!

If that was my club, I would be wanting heads to roll. In the most even draft this century, stacked with mids at the front end, what the actual f**k are they still doing with pick 2???????

We are at the first stage of grief of the realization that FOS (who they have been marking in their best 22's for about 8 weeks with our pick) is going to be at Arden St in 24 hrs barring themselves buckling on Lalor.

Most of them are still sticking to the same delusion as the last month that this is part of Blair's master manipulation plan and Rawlings will fold to them.

Going to be utterly hilarious when Thomson Dow and Jack Ross

Reading that makes me realise that they actually do have alot to lose if they don't compromise. Much more than us. It's on them, they can get the hand they want if they compromise.

6 & 18 for 2 would probably be fine. Still, I'd rather FOS. My instincts still say Jagger at 2, but I just want to go FOS now because it will p!ss so many people off.

They've fully got the sh!ts too......telling us our F1 is worth pick 18.

They got absolutely blown by the Rioli trade and think every other club is just as stupid as GCS.

Anyway, hope all goes to plan for us and we stay the course......our F1 should be able to get us Tauru, if another club is smart and doesn't make a clown of themselves. But will be what it is.

We have never tried to stitch another club, just wanted fair value for our pick 2. Stay the course Brady and Will, stay the course!!

I really hope we hold and take FOS.

It does suck we don't have another decent pick, but also I'm wary of selling off our F1 for unders.

Holding our full future hand, next year I wouldn't be against taking a Melbourne like approach, almost recklessly trading up to fill positional needs, but with the highest talent, rather than roll the dice with later picks....Ideally, an absolute gun KPF to take this build to near completion.

Picks 8 to 24 are worth about the same as pick 4 to 8 next year imo.

You obviously follow under age footy very closely. Could you please post your detailed analysis of next year's top 24 draft prospects to substantiate how you have come to this conclusion? Looking forward to reading your response as I'm always hoping to learn from people who are more knowledgeable than me. Thanks in advance.
