What they fail to appreciate is that there's something closer to Luke's mum Cath than Moorabbin and that's the North Melbourne family. The club wrapped its arms around the Davies-Uniackes the moment Luke was drafted and even more so when Peter's cancer was diagnosed just a few weeks later. The club was there for Cath when Peter passed away and has been ever since. Cath doesn't forget. Any other club hoping to lure LDU away from Arden St is going to have to add a couple extra zeroes to the offer to overcome her disappointment in him if he decided to leave.
They are absolutely delusional over there on that board. One of them said we are the second worst run club in the competition.... I didn't bother asking who was No1. This is from someone who supports a club with 1 flag in 150+ years, a record number of wooden spoons and are still in debt!!! Speechless really

And our very own Jack Darling.

As legend has it, the shrewd WCE hierarchy of the day let the wider community know via stealth that ol Jacko was a very bad boy.. before swooping in and picking him up at pick 26..
I remember this. I also remember pre-draft rumours about Dyson Heppell having injuries, and how his family doctor at time was Bruce Reid 🤣

They can't even sack a coach permanently.

Just mentioned by Cal on gettable.
That’s a lock then on not trading/splitting pick 2 down you’d have to think. Great initiative by the club.

My first memory of North as a 5 year old was my grandmother taking me to a game at Arden St and seeing Greig glide past with a speed, skill and agility that has stayed with me to this day. Absolute legend of the club.

If my memory is correct, and I'd have to search back 250 pages, but I think you had Finn O'Sullivan top of your rankings at one stage, so this seems like a good move, even though I was on the Tauru train.

Would you trade our future first back in? Not so much for pick number, but who would you be content trading a future first for, that is within reason. Armstrong or Jack Whitlock perhaps? They're a couple I would like, but I don't know much.

I've had FO'S #1 all year and nothing's changed.

I don't have Whitlock or Armstrong high enough to trade a F1 for them.

In terms of who a F1 could realistically be cashed in for, if we really want a key position type player, I'd do it for Tauru and no other key position player in this draft. I'm big on Hotton, Hannaford and Berry, but I think F1 for them is a stretch, as much as I like all 3.

He said his brothers are 6'1 and 6'2 so he might grow a bit more.
Hope so. That extra 4-5cm would be perfect for his skillset, agility and our team setup.
