Yes but you dont want to be drafting 8 kids in the one draft and no one wants their puss picks.

They won’t be offloading top 10 picks in a deep draft for a gamble, it just won’t happen. They will more likely trade their later picks for future picks or trade up with them. Plenty of other options for them than that trade. Clubs are desperate to get into this draft.

Weren’t we offering our F1 for pick 13? Why wouldn’t they just trade their pick 10 for our F1. No way we finish above GWS.

I don’t think anything is going to happen with pick 2, unless it happens today. But I do believe we will get more picks this year somehow.

I think it will be our f1 on draft night if we can nab a player we want. It’s going to be a massive call for our recruiting team.

Don’t see the tigers trading pick 6 either.

Have we been able to draw down on the "goodwill" we have invested with Richmond in past trade periods?
hahaha They owe us 20, plus whatever they got for Tarrant, then probably nothing for: Biggie, Darryl Cummins, Robin Nahas, Aaron Edwards, Trent Nicholls and Sutton maybe a F3 for Sutton!

Only reported by randoms, not necessarily the club but even then, no, we weren't. We were potentially trading our F1 for Dan Houston - a proven, AA calibre quantified player. Pick 13 was just the medium to achieve this.

I've got no inside information but if we keep pick 2 and I'm putting it on the line, I think we'll select FO'S.

I think he makes the most sense from a list management perspective, but in the end this is just guesswork.
I think you're right BTW although I also think Draper a chance also personally but from a build, height, skillset POV I think FOS seems a more natural fit to our current assets. Smilie looks a touch oversized and I'm not sure how that gels with his apparent lack of physicality - which at that size is a bit of a worry and also doesn't seem very Clarko. There's not much else on the taller mid size list at the pointy end.

Hi Harvey here, huge fan love your work.

Can you provide some more details as to why he makes more sense over say Draper, Langford, Jagger or the other guy.

I think he's the most versatile (both in terms of position and also roles he could take in the midfield) and athletic of the lot, and so I think he has the highest ceiling.

For example, Jagga Smith might be the better inside midfielder with more runs on the board this year, but Finn has the overhead marking and ability forward of the ball to be used as a forward.

Langford could also be a better midfielder, but Finn is quicker and could be utilised as a line breaking winger (which I think is a position of need for us), which I don't think Langford could.

Draper is pretty comparable to Finn, but one is from SA and the other VIC. I like Finn's overhead ability more if we're trying to find something.

I like FOS and can see a fit for us. Truth with him though is in a better top end he is a slider.

Tauru I see as upside just with raw athletic ability. He is alse a big risk as injuiry prone and in all fairness the least "Football" player out of the top prospects. I still take him but do see the risks.
