Jesus Christ. Brady asleep at the wheel again, why couldn’t he trade 62 and a future 9th for 58. FMD.
I was going to jokingly go with why didn't he trade our F2 for Bombres 28. The trade is right there Brady FFS!
Doesn't matter if we couldn't then trade our F1 on draft night without getting a F2 or F1 back in the deal.
It's irrelevant... minor details.

Can't wait to see who they want at 58 that they thought won't be there at 60.
Without doing a massive deep dive into their list and how many list spots they have available. Maybe they were going to lose pick 66 (80 points) so they have pretty much traded 60 to 58 and gained an extra 24 points.
It's a strange one though.

No we're not, everything's going to be alright, hold the fort, come draft night we will get the player/players we want! The chances that anything was going to be traded today was like a 1000-1, I'm guessing when the tigers make their first selection on draft night that's when things will heat up or shall I say come to fruition. There will be plans in place either way, I know this has been said about 10,000 times but we need to have a little more faith, things are never as bad as they seem. :)
Mate I was talking about us big footy posters, not the club. Old mate asked "what's wrong with you lot" and told him honestly that we are scum and we suck. I stand by it tbh.

They won't draft with any of those picks. They want a few extra points because all their picks will get absorbed in points matching bids on F/Son Levi Ashcroft (pick 1 or 2) and Lions academy player Sam Marshall (likely bid in 20-30 range).
Our pick 62 will come in a little bit earlier once the bids remove some of those 30-60 picks.

No doubt a worry and there's an element of risk there and I can't really fault anyone for not wanting anything to do with him due to his lack of production and/or accumulation this year.

Ultimately there's a risk with all of them, just depends which risk you want to take on.

FO'S risk is production this year and finding the ball has been a problem (although this wasn't an issue last year)
Langford's is his being one-paced and his size at junior level being an advantage
Take your pick with Jagga (and I really like him): midfield only, skinny and lack of hurt factor for some
Draper: SA prospect and his manicness at times leads him to blaze away and make some weird decisions
Lalor doesn't have composure in the contest, disposal is a little iffy and I worry that his size helped him at junior level

For me, FO'S actually has the least amount of risk attached with him when you consider him as a prospect apart from his production (I know how stupid that sounds because you want a bloke with runs on the board). I suppose the reason I'm willing to give him a pass on production and accumulation is because he had no issue with these in his underage year. There's really no clear and obvious flaw in his game for me, at least in comparison to the others.
Jagga is the only guy with no risk. Will waltz into our centre best. Main problem is that we will have to burn some other capable midfielders/

Shanahan
as the big kpf who could impact immediately but also be a long term investment
I'm a big fan of F1 for Richmond's 10. I feel like it could suit both parties and is far from a trade that Richmond supporters could feel dogged about.
I get they might not want to buy they'd have to feel confident it will end up a top 5.

Thanks for your reply Souup. I don't feel like I necessarily have a clear favourite out of the top 5 at the moment. What i will say about Langford's case though is that pace isn't everything. Some of the best players in the comp you wouldn't say are fast but they still have the ability to find and win the footy better than most. If i'm taking a midfielder with a top 2 pick, i'm wanting a player that gets plenty of the ball, wins contests and impacts the game on a consistent basis.

Nah he's gotta stack on 15kg so he doesn't break something playing seniors.

Easily the most underdeveloped physique in the top 10.

I don't think you can you be 100% certain his trademark agility will still be there after he spends a couple years getting his weight up to scratch.

He's also the antithesis of a two-way running mid, which is what we need.

By contrast Draper could play round 1. Far less risk.
