Shanahan - 17.83
Jack Whitlock - 21.5
Hannaford - 24.66

Draper and Lindsay both have the body size to play AFL in 2025. Smith would likely get injured at his current weight.
Smith has a famous undersized cousin who went alright in his first year and fought above his weight. Joel selwood. Different players but I think you'll be shocked

The supremely talented Sam Lalor appears to be firming as the favourite to be taken at pick 1 in next weeks National Draft. Unfortunately, calling these FULL season highlights is rather wishful thinking on my part as Lalor suffered through a series of injuries in 2024 which severely limited the amount of footy he was able to play.

FOS may fit a better need for us but if Lalor is available I bloody hope we take him. Gives me Dusty vibes.

Come in peace. Any word on who you’re drafting?

Also thought I’d ask how you feel about Colby and Zane a year on
None of us really know who we are taking......holding everything till pick 1 is nominated you'd hope.

If Tigers don't take Lalor he will be in a North jumper you'd think.

I know we LOVE FOS, trained with us last summer. But we are also big on Draper and I personally rate Langford right up there.

I'd be absolutely blown away if we took Tauru at 2, even though every other club wants us to. Too big a reach.

Colby looks stupid good, like going to be our best player type vibes. Zane did some ridiculous things last year, but needs size and tank, but I'm massive on him....James Hird type player IMO.

As the jungle drums have beaten, FOS or Draper seem to be the two we will choose from.

Our ITK says it will be FOS.

Kerch and Durz? Chalk and cheese, as expected. Kerch as advertised is as able to jump into afl like he was born to it. Will only get better and more dangerous as he moves up the ground. Also seems to be a great clubman.

Durz needs time like we expected. Showed his insane ability at various times, 2 goals on debut, next week he took 11 marks in his second game. But also failed to impact numerous time. His running is sub standard. And at times his intensity can be questioned.

Still a few preseasons before we see him near his best.

I'll be very surprised if he gets taken in the ND.

Solid/reliable type, but doesn't really have much point of difference in his game.
Found this comment interesting from the One Percenters article, that Passmore posted, talking about players taken after pick 40.

”It’s more likely you’ll be choosing between players who show occasional flashes of potential and those who perform well in games but lack an obviously outstanding trait that can see them take their game to the next level.”

Backs up what you're saying about Luke Kennedy not having a point of difference.

Hey Juice030103, Colby & Zane, let me put it this way, very very excited and they are going to form a very important piece of the puzzle that we are assembling, who we are drafting, now that's an interesting question, because everyone more than usual are keeping very quiet, nobody knows, it probably wont be much help but anyone of the 6 gun midfielders {- one, after the tigers take the first pick} Harry Armstrong or Alix Tauru, so eight choices, now some may say its down to two or three but again it really is a guessing game.

It's an interesting one, not many of those crazy raw athletic types that are taken beyond pick 40 or in the rookie list often amount to anything at AFL level.

But you can find those role players who perhaps weren't the most well rounded or damaging types as juniors. It's why I'm a big fan of the role players like Luca Greggo or Pat Retschko as later options in the event we don't get more earlier picks.
