I've said it before and I'll say it again, the only place this bloke seems to be rated is on the BF North board.
Who was that tall forward from the draft a couple of years back who was expected to go top 10 at the start of his year and ended up going really late or rookie? I think he ended up at Carlton. Lemmey?

Yep, that's the one. Went in the late 40's.

Crows wants Jagga.

'The Kangaroos are believed to be eyeing pick 4 and a future second-round selection to get the deal done.'

It is understood that Adelaide recently offered North Melbourne pick 4 and two future third-round selections in exchange for pick 2, but the offer was knocked back.

Out Pick 2
In: Pick 4 and F2 (currently Pick 40)

That's not enough.

Pick 40?
I would have thought it would be closer to pick 25
Of course this will be pick 30+ after all the FA comps, FS & academy picks
That's according to Lore's draft pick calculator for 2025, I think it's pretty accurate.

Why would they give up more. If they think we want Tauru, just call a bluff and let us pick him at 2. I think a F2 is fair enough

If Adelaide want to jump the que to get in ahead of Carlton for a specific player, they should be the ones coughing up to do so.

The key point left out was that the article states Tauru will be taken by Melbourne at 5 if he is still on the board.

And that there is a world that FOS would still be on the board at 4 as the blues would take Draper.

It’s not in an ideal world. But if we are locked into Tauru, it’s better grabbing another asset like a F2 rather than just picking him at pick 2.

We would only do this deal if we have settled on Tauru.

Has to be an early 20's 2nd rounder or F2 I think. Bombres paid pick 32 to move up one spot from 11 to 10 for Caddy.
So two spots an early twenties pick is probably fair to move up two spots. Up to Crows to find one.
Of course we'd want their F1 and give back our F2 but I could understand the Crows knocking that back.
Curtin trade was 11, 15 and F2 for 8 and 17 as another trade.

If we want one of FOS or Draper one will be on the board at 4. Doesn't have to be for Tauru. It's a little bonus to still take one of our top guys.

That pick 40 is a F3. They'd need to move it with another F3 into the second round, hopefully to a bottom 8 side.

Might be the minority here, but haven’t we had our share of ‘projects potential’ types? Is he a lock kpd or physically talented? Play goad where they want this kid to play and pick a certified talented mid
Takes me back to picking up a defender in EVW to be a giant mid. Even though he himself didn't think he could be a mid.

You mean we could get GMan with pick 62 (mid 50's)?

One of those quirks.

Like 80s US one hit wonders being able to sell tickets to shows here while they have to flip burgers to pay the bills back home.

G-train on track (ahem) to be the next Will Gayfer.

Why are we so obsessed with Tauru?
We're not. The media has decided we are because it allows the clubs they care about to get other players more easily.
