I wouldn't take Tauru at 4 either.

He won't get picked by either Melbourne or Richmond at pick 5/6. Would Richmond risk Lalor going to Melbourne at pick 5?

Do the deal with Adelaide once they get another F2.

Then trade 4 and a F2 to Richmond for pick 6 and 24.

We've turned pick 2 and F2 into Tauru, a F2 from Adelaide and potentially Trainor.

Hats off to Brady.

I think the top 7 goes like this:

1. Rich - FOS
2. Adel - Draper
3. Bris - Ashcroft (Bid)
4. Carl - Smith
5. Rich - Lalor
6. Melb - Langford
7. NM - Tauru

We're not. The media has decided we are because it allows the clubs they care about to get other players more easily.
We’ve been strongly linked to him by those in the industry before the season even finished. This isn’t something manufactured by the media.
They traded their current round 2 to Melbourne for Neal-Bullen. Then traded their F2 for Peatling.

Believe they have two F3's tied to Melbourne and GWS. One would be pick 40.
Correct. We knocked back 4 + 2x F3’s and have reportedly told them to turn it into an F2 if it’s going to happen.

I'd tell Crows to trade two or three of the F3's for Bombres pick 28. They give us 4 and 28 perhaps?
Can't see many other teams needing to trade out of the 20's. Lions 27 but neither of our teams can give them lots of points to make up for it with only picks 62 and 64.

The Crows might be able to trade two or three of their future 3rds to GWS for one of their future second round picks given they don't have a future 3rd or 4th rounder.

We'll have a few spots to fill next season given you can't imagine all of the likes of Pink, Harvey, Ford, Teakle, CCJ, Hansen Jr, Tucker, Phillips etc. will be hanging around. So retaining/obtaining decent picks next year won't go astray especially given we seem adamant on trading out our future 1st for some enchanted legumes.

Apparently dees are considering Tauru at their pick

If we want one of FOS or Draper one will be on the board at 4. Doesn't have to be for Tauru. It's a little bonus to still take one of our top guys.

That pick 40 is a F3. They'd need to move it with another F3 into the second round, hopefully to a bottom 8 side.
Good news: Crows have found a patsy and swapped out 2 likely finalist F3s to secure an F2 for us

Bad news: it's our F2

Yeah okay that blows this up then. Carry on.

Just realized ive essentially said Pick 2 for pick 7 and 24 which isnt great.
and makes the Adelaide pick swap makes sense as we would have Tauru on the board at 4 and FOS might slide to there too

As tigers could go Lalor or smith, crows take who they don’t
Blues take draper

We choose between FOS and Tauru

Then dees at 5 take whichever we don’t take or they consider Langford

I don't think Giants move 21. Crows trade two F3's to get GWS's 37 and 56.
Then Crows trade 37, 56, 64 for Lions pick 27. 70 points gain to Lions for bids and Crows don't bid on Levi at 2.
Pick 4 and 27 goes to us for pick 2.

Why would Adelaide trade up to pick Draper? No Vic club will pick him unless he slides past Adelaide’s first pick.

Melbourne don’t want Tauru and Richmond would be silly to reach for Tauru with pick 6 considering their draft hand.

If we are deadset on Tauru then the only two trade that make sense for 2 is either:

Rich 6 + 18 (assuming we won’t get 10/11)

Or

Saints 7 + F1

then on trade saints F1 on draft night.

Apparently you knocked us back as you didn’t want to slide so far.

That would be odd, would be silly if a club asked him to, lets just say give short answers to questions, give vague responses and appear disinterested.
He wants to get to Tigers at pick 6 I reckon. Even said on Dwayne's World he was a Tigers man and loved playing VFL.
He mentioned most of the other teams except us. Did say he'd be prepared to go to SA but said it's a big move lol.
