I think its a dick move from the NFL going up against the first round of the first 12 team CFP [its why ESPN sold the 2 games to TNT]

Also Bengals/Browns must be the first game to be passed on by 2 networks since it was TNF and then Fox flexed out.

NFL had 2 Saturday games pre Xmas last year too.

NCAA had this announced over a year ago. its just because the TV law banning the NFL from Saturdays only goes till the 3rd weekend in December. normally this is the NFLN Saturday games but they are nextweek with the ESPN Saturdays moved to week 18

They already know DTR isn't the answer, may as well let Jameis entertain the masses and have a bit more fun for the last couple of games.

Then they stick with Winston. I think it might be giving DTR a change to win the job and the loser gets cut in March. DRT costs less and the Watson contract is impossible to cut unless they play with 60% of the cap in dead money or 2 years with 30% in dead money

He is a FA in march. new team would just have to pay like $300k for the rest of the season and any bonus he triggers.
