I'm excited to see Penix Jr start, I loved him in college football.

Would people agree Phillip Rivers is a better quarterback than Kirk Cousins?

Cousins making $320 million for 1 playoff win in his career just seems insane to me.
He's like the Zach Merrett of the NFL, great player but his team never did anything noteworthy.

100% Rivers is the better QB, got a hell of a lot closer to a SB than Cousins ever did & at his peak, was damn good to watch.

It's 30/30 Jameis once again..last few games has gone 9 TDs / 12ints. Same story, about to turn 31 and you know what you get with him. May as well see what DTR has got.
Think we've seen what DTR has the past two seasons and when hes got on the field and its been awful, basically Sam Howell with better wheels ie: cant make any decent throws to the boundary. He replaced Winston last week who was shocking admittedly, yet DTR might have been even worse than Winston was in that game with the Chiefs playing soft coverage in garbage time.

But I do get it, if I was the Browns id probably want to lose out from here also and DTR gives them the best chance to do that. Im just being a salty fantasy player. Its my right. :tearsofjoy:

Campbells potential release to go to a contender???

NFL giving out participation ribbons now?

Don't like it because these players make business decisions all their careers putting $$$$ in front of rings. They also get to play in a playoff run at the expense of a player who has been on the team all year.

I'm lost for words at the level of clown show this is. **** this rich buffoon, if he's not going to sell the franchise I may have to find a different one next season. Panthers could be fun 🤷

Diversion tactic from his dickhead, entitled, Tic Toc son thinking he can rule the lockeroom and decide who gets game balls.

That's your future owner.

Woody Johnson showing what an entitled rich kid can act out like as an adult despite being brought up with dated family values.

Imagine what his kids will be like once they get the reigns.

NFL rightly vet all potential new owners looking to buy into a franchise but can do nothing about blood lines of existing owners passing control onto their kids.

If you want to get away from bad ownership I wouldnt recommend the Panthers :tearsofjoy:

Get ready for Deebo getting 20 carries at 2.3 yards per carry.
Was considering starting Patrick Taylor in fantasy in one of my flex spots but youre probably right, washed up Deebo could easily get the lions share of carries. :(

That diamond Woody chain he wears is so ****ing cringe.

Started watching the Aaron Rodgers documentary last night

First episode was pretty good

Finished it yesterday.

If you can get past the waffle around the obscure meds/psychedelics and the clear ego ride, there's a decent football story in there.

I really don't think Aaron is half as smart or enlightened as he thinks he is.

I also suspect we might see him retire this off season. This season has obviously not been good for him or the Jets. Not sure it's in anyone's best interests to do that again next season.

Give me the latest on this: Clark vs. Rodgers: A Deepening NFL Feud

The feud between Ryan Clark, an ESPN NFL analyst and former player, and Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the New York Jets, has escalated recently, fueled by public exchanges on various platforms. Here's an overview based on the latest developments:

Public Spat Over Comments:
  • Aaron Rodgers criticized the state of sports media and specifically ESPN analysts during his appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show," suggesting that many commentators are former players using controversial opinions to stay relevant. He called out the shift from the "SportsCenter" of his youth to a talk-show dominated environment where opinions often lack substance.

  • In response, Ryan Clark, who has been an outspoken critic of Rodgers, particularly regarding his performance and leadership with the Jets, labeled Rodgers a "fraud" on ESPN's "First Take." Clark pointed out the hypocrisy in Rodgers' comments, given that he himself was appearing on ESPN to share his opinions for payment, similar to the analysts he was criticizing.

Vaccination Status and Personal Attacks:

Broader Implications:
  • This feud has sparked discussions about the role of former players in media, the influence of personal beliefs on public statements, and the dynamics of sports media in the modern era. It has also highlighted the tension between current athletes and media analysts, especially when both parties have high-profile platforms like ESPN.

  • The situation has been described as a "powder keg" for ESPN, given that both Rodgers and Clark are personalities associated with the network in different capacities.

This ongoing feud reflects not only personal animosities but also broader debates about media, athlete responsibility, and public discourse in sports.
