He’s had prior it’s fairly easy. You have prior get rid of it. Fairly simple if you can’t get it to your own player poor didums it’s still prior. Miller always had hold of him it’s prior

I recognise there's still a long way to go and we are only a few injuries away from being in a completely different position to where we are.

But it just absolutely sh*T's me that the footy world continues to talk up teams like Carlton and Essendon as if they have had seasons so far to compare to us.

And to continue the rant, they talk about all our guns as potentially leaving the club. Warner and McDonald going back to WA. Hayward off to Carlton. Ollie back to Victoria was a whisper. Parker to Norf. Even a good news story of Errol re-signing was twisted around because he didn't sign on for the rest of eternity. Then the non story of Wicks, bring back the death penalty for Parker, our mids kicking too many goals - I just feel there is so much desire there for us to fail.

I so hope we win not just this year's flag but the next 5 at least and stick it up the so called experts.

Rant over......
I get what you feel. It's like when your kid does something brilliant but no-one cares.

That’s ball under the new rules Miller always had a hand on him. Had 3 pivots and have an opportunity to push the ball out every single time. How is this even controversial it’s HTB every day of the week and twice on Sunday
What do you mean the new rules? The rules haven’t changed, only that umpires have been directed to shorten the 'reasonable time' component of the existing rule.

The rule is that where a player fails to correctly dispose of the football upon being tackled by an opponent, within a reasonable time, they will be penalised.

Bombers player incorrectly disposed of the ball but he wasn’t being tackled. Hence the free kick to Miller was a very generous interpretation of the holding the ball rule. So generous it wasn’t recognised as a tackle.

I’ve been calling it for some time now that the smug bombers won’t make the 8 … BUT I didn’t expect all the teams below them to keep losing??!! 🤷‍♂️ If that continues, they may just fall over the line into 8th place? But still think they’ll miss out because they’re the biggest imposters ever!

I do not think we are talking to the same htb call

Doesn’t have to be a tackle to be prior, miller always had hold of him, that’s your prior.

Missed the Demons game due to a very important date with pizza and lots of red wine. What the hell happened there?

Think Melbourne had Pizza and red wine

Some really astounding results:

Who would have thought the Dockers would give Dees a spanking. The Dockers average 11 goals/game but this weekend they kick 22. Double their average.

What about the Hawks. The shit on Crows. The Crows are too one dimensional in the mids. They don't have enough pace in there. The Hawks exploited this & the fact Crows mids are medium mids not big bruisers.

Suns best the Bombers. This was definitely not on Brad Scott's dance card. Most pundits had the Bombers as away winners after the Suns away from home blowout. But the brutes from Broadbeach came up with the goods.

Speaking of unpredictable, who told the Saints they were allowed to spoil the Eagles Harley Party? But they did

Pies got beaten with a Reserves side. If Dogs did not win that one they should be playing Amateurs.

The Cats cruised over Tigers, who fielded an Under 10's side due to injury.

Port proved they still can't beat the top sides. Blues ran all over them & the Power went out. Port are crap against every top Eight side & have been for the last 5 years. All except us. We get beaten by Port for some reason. I hope we don't continue that this year. Same old problem for Port. Their problem is not the defence, even though that is dicy, it is their forwards & mids allowing huge overlap because they are a lazy bunch of bastards. I think it amusing they continue to play Dixon. He is the worst players for chasing. He just doesn't.

Anyway the whole weekend was spoiled because we were not playing. I mean, our brand of exciting footy is just sublime

Melbourne tried to play quick proceeded to kick it straight to Freo’s defenders…oh and Oliver looks as cooked as can be and can’t win a clearance.

Plus Freo actually showed an ounce of intent and gave their forwards a chance rather than chipping it side to side in their backline like they have all season

Essington loses another final and the streak continues to bring joy around the country.
