Is Cripps AA Captain this year? (Acknowledging that Darcy Moore also a real contender...)

2x goals for the season from 10 games and he’s playing as a forward.
Fog has 1 goal from 6 games.
Maybe Fanta has been a bit lucky that players who might take his spot have been injured, but seems to be growing into the role.
10disp, nearly goal of the year, 4 score involvements, 4 intercepts in only 55% game time.
He still has things to improve on and hitting the scoreboard is clearly one of those.

I’ve never seen Todd Marshall play worse than that. Pretty sure Kemp stood him so kudos to him.

Last night, for the first three quarters was a familiar case of we have to work really hard to score because our decision making and ball use are not consistently good. I did not see the last quarter coming. The game opened up and we rolled right on through. Started smashing it out of the centre, started using the ball to advantage and most importantly finished off the good work. When Blake kicked the goal I knew we were not going to be beaten. Such a good feeling.

Great team effort across the whole game with our persistence eventually rewarded.

Some great selection issues coming soon. Hopefully Mots can have a good game and push his case for next week. Straight swap for Fanta.

Fog - Barometer.

Must beat the Bombres.

Great performance from the team and the picture of our best 23 is becoming clearer.
Fogarty, Cincotta, TDK, Williams, Boyd and Kemp have really proven their value in the last fortnight.
Only changes I would be hoping to make post the bye are:
In: Martin, Cerra, Cottrell (sub)
Out: Kennedy, Fantasia, Carroll (sub)
(Depending on Motlop's form putting pressure on Owies.)

Beyond that, let's just keep seizing the moments in front of goal like we did in the last quarter!

Usually much better so something maybe not tight with his body ?
Felt like just an off night to me. Don't think he handled the conditions or the type of opponent well (he sometimes was contending with Aliir or Esava over his shoulder). I reckon he'll bounce back.

McKay benefits enormously from the one ruck setup. It keeps him involved for the entirety of the game and he’s shown an ability to utilise his enormous running capacity. Sounds silly, but I think the continual presence up and around the ground has improved his goal-kicking; his role is almost an old-school CHF and it’s allowed him to just relax and play to his strengths.

3 goals, 17 touches, 6 marks. I think he’s playing better than his Coleman year.
Was very close to the best player in the comp for the first month or so of the season.

Apart from the lapse in the goal square in the third, had an excellent game.

Nothing too dramatic with that really - think most would agree

Newman is another good field kick (although had a poorish night last night)
Newman tends to take the safer option. Gov and Boyd always seem to go for the harder, more attacking kick.

Whilst prone to some mistakes, I think Kemp is deceptively good at those attacking kicks too. Not at the level of Gov and Boyd though.

Just couldn't get a feel for that game, and I did not see that last quarter coming

Impressive that we can switch styles in-game, from playing a turnover game (slightly better than Port), to brutalising them in the contest in the last

One thing that was consistent was our pressure throughout
yeap, we have gears we didn't have last year.

He may be in his physical peak, but he’s played 24 AFL games, 2 as a defensive mid. He’s got plenty of room for growth.
Sure. Just, expecting him to gather 30 disposals without someone leading him to the ball is too much for me. He's not a natural mid and wouldn't be in there without the role.
