The last part of that is my point.
We have a lot that aren't doing much at all atm but there's no replacements.
Cincotta would be a great replacement for Saad but it's highly unlikely after missing this week's game.
I guess that leaves Cowan as next up but I'm not convinced he's ready for the level of our next block of games. Happy to be proven wrong.

Most are saying that Binns isn't physically ready but by the same token, neither is Ollie. Great young talent and all but for our physically demanding game style maybe a fit Cincotta would be a better inclusion with Boyd taking Ollie's role?
Let’s strip it right down - I would back Binns to regularly outperform Ollie at VFL level. They’re both lightly framed, so why the hell this hesitation with playing Binns??

I think this was a wake up call we might have needed. How easy was the ball transferred by Adelaide? Disappointing defensive pressure and setup.
How much did we love WALSH…….the guy is a freak and bloody damn good ordinary player.
Walsh was filthy with that loss after the siren went.

Probably cause they don’t need the internet to enjoy a win.
Love this post.

Yes, people can and do make vent posts during/after a loss, and their disappointment may cause them to post when they ordinarily wouldn’t.

But posters who seize on their fellow fans’ anguish in order to pot them are far, far worse.

As we all know, it's a fine line between small moments that shape an outcome

Losing Saad may have disrupted that positioning, but being more aggressive is a more desirable stance as a team
I think we got the balance wrong. We're too aggressive with positioning and our backs were caught out time and again.

Mainly because our mids couldn't/wouldn't go with Keays (mainly) who outworked our mids and gave the overlap.

28 scoring shots to 20 with 14 being behinds isn’t great, shot ourselves in the foot. They were damn accurate with their goal kicking, paid off for them in the end.

We struggled to shut down when the game was on their terms, a lot of the first half saw them use short passes along the boundary and spread wide, then using an overlap from halfback with handball receive with long balls into Tex and co. What hurt most here was we would have a period of dominant play with lack of reward, then they pull this off and score a goal. Didn’t help when defenders are 7-10m off their man at any time.

Hewett did a great job on Dawson for 3 quarters. Walsh was fantastic on return. Acres also solid for 3 quarters, but too many didn’t stand up when needed. Owies missing that chance will haunt me in my sleep tonight, as will ZW/Kemp effort in D50. I agree we stuffed up at selection. Injuries are mounting now with Saad and Gov joining Cez.

Big 5 weeks ahead. GWS, Geelong, Pies, Dees and Suns. Going to really test where we are as a group.

I think H is better when he is able to go in the ruck and get a touch & run around a bit, we seemed too top heavy today with Pitto & TDK.

Oh well.
Hopefully injuries are kind to us & a few are ready to return.

If we were told we would be 4-1 to start the season, I think most of us would have taken that.

If we cant be arrogant about beating a bottom 4 side. We dont deserve s**t

The current ladder positions mean absolute nothing - Adelaide are not a bottom 4 side - indeed a lot of pundits had them playing finals this year and they were one bad goal umpiring call from playing finals last year.

They absolutely bottled their first 4 games - could’ve won all of them. Conversely we have been lucky in 3 out of 4 of our wins. It’s a game of fine margins and we were on the wrong side of it today.
