Coming off a back injury and not playing any competitive minutes so far, you can only really expect 40 and 2 from Walshy

Fantasia... I wasn't a fan of us picking him up and has been slow out of the blocks, but there are signs that he he showing he is about to bust out and wow me, but then he goes missing.
Set up a couple of goals on the weekend with chasing and tackling, turning the ball over from the opposition and then intercepted a handpass for a long shot at goal which decided to back spin in the goal square
Let's face it, our small forwards aren't really locking themselves in, but hopefully they can turn it around.

• Fog, what was he thinking going in with a stiff arm like that? Love his fight and tough as a cats head, but looks like we've lost him for a while?
• Motlop, no doubt, our most dangerous small, who can make a goal out of nothing, need him back in ASAP
• Durdin, works hard for little reward, tough, tackles, but now needs reward for effort as he seems to drift out of games for too long.
• Cunners, good user when he has it, super in tight situations where he will find another player, good second option in the midfield, but this guy just doesn't get a good run at it, will his body let him down?
• Martin, someone find this guy a magic potion, we are a totally different side with him on the field. Not exactly small, but another who can get a goal out of nothing.
• Owies, has no tricks as a small forward but can read the play and kick goals, probably our most consistent small forward.
• Cotters, doesn't mind a goal and does a lot of running, he's teasing, I want more, he has the ability and speed to cause havoc.

Back to Fantasia, the time is now, have a crack, forget the old highlights, we want new ones!

Check out some of Williams great highlights...in particular the one (at 1:10 in) where he receives a handpass from Cripps (as an aside - Cripps was superb in this bit of play to get that ball out)...

He receives, dodges and weaves around two freo players in tight, runs a few yards and manages to get a kick into f50 - charlie marks and goals as well.

Super bit of play!

Statistics can be deceiving, think the 'eye test' tells us that Kennedy is far more valuable to us as an inside mid.(might mean dropping Carroll to sub).
What we'd lose in midfield pace has been balanced by the inclusion of Acres, Hollands x 2, Cotts, Fanta, cameo's from the half backs etc.(TDK and Harry)

None of those guys are in at a centre bounce. So their running ability doesn't change that dynamic.
