What do we know about mid season draft?
How many rookies go straight on and play for their new club I.e. likely to debut in these MBRs

Zero?
1-2?
Or more?
It's usually 1-2.
No idea who yet and hopefully they are 102k

So much for game plan, running patters etc - they just get a mid season rookie and can slot them into a team - no dramas!

Just saw that Ed Allan is actually Ben Allan’s son.

I thought he would have been a father son option for Hawks or Freo but he didn’t make 100 games for either club, 2 games short for Hawks too.

If he is anything like his old man (who was a gun footballer ) he’ll know how to find the ball and use it well.

Which 2 rooks to get in out of Freijah Richards McAuliffe 🥰
Not

Second time I’ve said this.

You watch Frasier go on to be the best rookie of the lot.

I didn't watch the game, did Freijah play ok? He scored well enough for a rookie
Looked a little off the pace but got thrown forward third quarter when Naughton went down and got some nice touches. Went back again in the last quarter.

Will be very surprised if he gets dropped especially given the Dogs injuries tonight

He has a pulse that is good enough at the moment. :p
But seriously he had 20 Disposals and scored 62 in a 20 goal smashing he will get more games.
If he can play the next 4 games before the Round 15 Bye he could make $150k
If he has a pulse at Richmond, his days are numbered. 4 weeks is optimistic.

Regarding Mcauliffe.. Baker, Trezise, Banks, Campbell all available but I think Coulthard, Green, Mansell, McIntosh at least all come out for them. Hopper and Taranto available in 2 weeks but I don’t think that means he comes out of the team. The club rates him very highly.
Why’d he play two games then get dropped for the next four then?

North look like taking skaife from wa with msd pick 1.
Incorrect. They’ll win their second game from the last 40 in round 24 and get pick 2.

He was managed from what I had heard (yes I know weird after 1 and a half games) but maybe it had something to do with him tweaking his ankle in the saints game. With Hopper, Graham and Baker being out, no Pickett in the middle doing a job, he was able to get 60% CBA's. With how injury prone the team is and him being one of the better players against Brisbane, I'll back him in because he was outstanding in pre season as well.

Counting on it :moustache:
Counting that juicy cash he’s about to make you as well ;)

Oh well, now I have to decide whether I’m going to roll the dice on McAuliffe or save the $25k and get Richards in.

After team selections, I wish I had that choice to make .....I should have gone Freijah cow ....but zigged instead of zagged, and got Richards (not the red headed version)

Might just punt Sam Darcy to Joe Frasier next week for the $200k.

Sweet could also be dropped if Ivan SolderingIron is back V the Blues. Happy to chop Sweet if he gets over that $300k mark. He’s done his job.

That’ll do Pig, that’ll do.

Comben and Clohesly are 2 others that could get traded.
