someone pill me on lazarro

not sure whats changed from last year for him? seems to be competing with powell / phillips for that 4th mid spot behind ldu / wardlaw / simpkin and a bad game sees him quickly in a dud role or dropped to magoos / sub. cant get my head around why hes so popular unless ive missed something important.

I think Simpkin is behind Powell/Phillips for that 3rd CBA role.

If Cadman(e) and Campbell get named again they are my bench forwards. I have Wilson as F6 but also Rawlinson as a nonplaying M/F so I can loop Cadman.

I know Cadman's scores have only been so so but he can make serious money, albeit slowly, with a few spike scores. Campbell will go into the round with a BE of -24 so if he can hang around for a few rounds can make money.

Have Lyons as M7 . Rather take the risk on Lyons than use a trade bringing him in round 3. Roberts on field for his bye but hardly relevant as best 18 and I have 13 keepers plus Bonner/Fisher/Reid and Sanders
Just be mindful of when Lyons plays this week.
Yeah, slim pickings out of the Freo/Lions players in the price range. The worst outcome would be to be sub in which case I would select Simpson, if not playing, or the Lions minimum price M/F and get Roberts' score.
Still 10 kicks/9 handballs/9 tackles, 78% efficiency from 70% t.o.g. doesn't scream "make me sub!".

Simpkin flagged to play forward - Lazz seems to be 4th banana

Makeshift Park & buttox can probably provide more clarity

He's fit again. Those sub runs he was on were in between injuries and returning.

I am backing him in

Bit worried about Hustwaite with how Mitch moves the young mids in and out of CBA rotations randomly, potentially to protect the younger bodies. Also can't get a true read on when Day is back
Also Mackenzie maybe getting some Mid minutes .....you just know I'll choose the wrong one out of McKercher / Hustwaite

Simpkin has been playing more as a forward lately.

I think Lyons will be back to sub/VFL soon - no defensive spread and just too vanilla these days.

The starting mids for Nth through the serious PS games were LDU, Wardlaw and Powell with Laz and Simpkin HF and rotating through second string. Phillips next in line.

Powell had been getting big CBA mid minutes early but when Simpkin got KOed Powell moved to HF and Phillips took the mid role in his place. The qtr by qtr CBA split shows it fairly clearly.

Either way Laz is 4th in line with Phillips or Powell in front of him depending on whether Simpkin is available

McKercher vs Lazzaro?
Lazzaro ...honestly has looked every bit an AFL player over the PS .....tackles, pressures, and is fast ...not an outside type

Exactly, that's why it's annoying.

Otherwise you'd trade him to a rookie on another like and move Mckercher/Roberts back.
I've got Reid and Phillips on the pine with Howes and Gibcus on field. Round 6 will see the first 2 on the field, really don't see a huge difference in their scoring TBH.

Duursma and McKercher are playing round 1 - NM members just got confirmation.

Honest question who gets the Sub vest Lazarro,Duursma or McKercher?
