You're right, but he only scored 28 in fantasy, its pretty anomalous to score +50 in SC which suggests his scoring power isn't sustainable. Only had 12 touches and 1 mark

Really difficult to choose 4 of those. Which 2 to leave out? Currently I have Reid, Howes, Coff and Gibcus, but thinking of getting rid of Gibcus for either Pink or Hore

Didn't he play a few years ago and is replacing Bowey now due to injury? He is a back pocket/half back type I believe, who would score better than the KPD's you'd think

As far as I remember he was a great rookie, racks up those long kicks.

Fair enough but JS is obviously very shaky given not named in R0. Rather just start Gibcus and see how Hore goes, can always do a correction if Hore goes huge

Hore is the Bowey replacement as Melbourne want to keep Salem in the midfield.

Hore was a good scoring rookie a few years ago.

Don't get me wrong, I have Gibcus in D7 and and I had Phillips in D8 until one hour ago. Now I'm tempted to go Hore in the last def spot, given Bowey is out for two months.

If you need to go one of Z Reid, Pink and Coffield, I can't see any reason why it would be any more than a coin flip at this point.

If anyone can think of anything convincing, I'm all ears.

A NGA product of WCE, is a little gun but is a nippy small fwd type, rooks like these especially in their rookie year are meh picks in SC usually.

In general how much is the first price rise from a 123k Rookie if they start 3 mid 50-60 scores? Is there a way to calculate it.

I'm thinking of choosing Oscar McDonald for all those easy chip kicks in the backline... Scored a 70 against Port. Has Brisbane, North, Crows, Carlton, Port, Eagles in first 6. Worry is that he makes way for Chapman when he's back.

If I want to get Carroll, my choices are currently:

1) put Daicos in the mids for a week and trade Gibcus to Carroll at some point. Means taking one of McDonald/Pink/Hore.
2) blow up my whole team to get Yeo in (likely instead of Martin) and effectively do the same thing.
3) take Sharp/Wehr/Mannagh and rely on needing to do a corrective trade in the mids or forwards.

Tholstrup named on the extended bench. Hopefully he doesn’t make the cut. Keen as mustard on this guy. Exceptional ball user who will likely play high half forward given Dees delivery woes. Had him in my team all preseason until he wasn’t selected OR. Easy downgrade for a maxed out/failed rookie if he’s held out a few rounds.
