R13 Meek > Grundy and a downgrade(Richards)
R14 NMartin/Stewart > Some defender who will average same but off bye (Clark/Young)
R15 Steele > Merrett
R16 Sullivan/Freijah > Rookie/Rankine

Team done with 7 trades and Sexton and Clohesy as cover.

For someone who is still holding Grundy, is it time to bring in big Timmy? I will also add that I have no issues with Grundy and planned on holding him longer, but a straight swap to English is appealing.

Im planning on bringing Grundy next week, playing the last 3 byes is the appeal. Not much between them so I wouldnt trade in your spot.

Would love to bring in a Serong/Ryan type scorer but nothing jumping out.....

You might aswell keep Rozzee ok he prob misses two weeks one is a bye everyone has to have.
But the rest will do him the world of good imo..who's going to score what he can sub 400k ..?
Mid season draft very soon might be some options out of that ..

This is the biggest pain of Sweet probably missing.
Sure, an extra wad of cash would have been nice, but an 80-odd covering Grundy would have been nicer still.

Agreed, hasn't been great - but has a much higher ceiling than Grundy.

Only way I could see you getting Ryan would be maybe going brown to Dawson early and clohesy to Ryan without trading out an under performing premo.

I'm in the same position mate and i say no, wait until after his bye. Career high score of 101 v the Dees and with a 176 breakeven a 124 would still see him drop 23k, then he has the bye.

Agree that for non-owners, he's a bit pricey at the moment. I wouldn't pay too much attention to his career history vs Melbourne though. Our midfield–which was previously a massive strength–is pretty broken this year (fourth easiest midfield to score against). Won't be at all surprised if he goes 140+
