Can anyone put a case forward for one of these?

He might not see much of the ball down back those couple of games. :moustache:

He will see plenty of high floaters randomly aimed to carry the half circle around 50m out :moustache:

No money, no rookies, OK setup for Bye Week 1 -> no trades.

I’m now thinking double downgrade pending selections to build the bank. This is my worst bye week so leaning towards just sucking it up and wearing a 💩 score in the aim of having 3 strong weeks to follow.

Richards- Mannagh
Clohesy- McAualiffe

Would leave me about 350k in bank.

If I then grabbed Dawson next week would give me 450k to spend on an Uber premo.

Think I might just trade Meek to English and finally be done with my rucks.

-Meek to English
-Darcy to Harrison
-Rozee to Salem

$280k itb

rd13:
WDawson, Dunkley and Greene in

Is it worth sideways trading Richards -> Sullivan/Harrison?

To get the extra $ growth over the next 2-3 weeks plus gives me a warm body over the byes.

It's tempting to hold Richards but even after 4/5 weeks there's no guarantee that he'll come straight back into the Pies team as they'll have a heap of senior players coming back into the side around the same time.

I can get on board with the first two moves (even though English is frustrating the hell out of me), but I don't really get the Rozee to Salem trade.

You're dropping one premo (after the damage has been done) and replacing him with an injury-prone mid-pricer with the worst bye and questionable scoring potential.

With that much ITB, surely you'd just go up to a rock-solid premo instead of Salem?

Pardon my ignorance, but are we talking about all the Collingwood rooks (ie. Joe Richards)?

How does trading a $212k player for either a $220k/$213k player get you extra $?

I'm not even being a smart ass, because I have Richards and have NFI what to do with him, so looking for an angle somewhere. Or are you talking about the concussed redhead Dogs Richards?

Just the one trade this week.

Darcy > Freijah

Next week a single trade of Clohsey > Whitfield to complete my backline.

I’ve got Richards, H Garcia, Sweet to deal with in a couple of weeks time which I reckon will become Zorko, hopefully he loses a few $$$ along the way.

I expect he's thinking Harrison can provide cover through the byes and maybe make 70-100K with the 99 washing through, while Richards is a dead position when cover may be required and won't be doing anything for 6 weeks

It's pretty fringe but so are most other options this week

Nah I'm talking about Joe Richards.. :thumbsu:

The extra $ would come over the next 2-3 weeks, assuming Sullivan grows by another $60-$70k and it gives me a warm body over the byes.

Salem will be my D7/M7 if he does poorly. He'll be my D6 if he does well. He could also be luxury upgraded if he skyrockets in price.

I'm getting Dunkley next week after his bye. And Serong the following week after this bye (and cheaper). And maybe Zorko when he bottoms out (also after his bye).

Would say McGovern if you could trust his body. As long as Sinclair stays in the middle NWM shoul be a good pick. Also like the look of Clark from Fremantle but you’ve probably missed his big scores since he’s already played the Saints. Would wait till after Ridley’s bye (rd 14 + has played 1 game)

Says this, 2 mins later calls Scythe94 explaining why I’m gonna jump on this week😭

Saints Twice on the fixture coming up, has only gone under 100 twice (scored 114 in 54 mins vs Pies💀).

Riding to the wheels fall off now I think😭

I'm really intrigued by the Boak pick but didn't watch the port game. I thought maybe he was getting more action because of Roze downtime but he attended no CBAs and most of his touches are in the back half. What happened here and what role is he playing?
