Passing on Bytel.
Passing on McAuliffe.
Already have Freijah.

Harvey Harrison could be a great pick, despite his price. Love this kid. Can score quickly, with his only low scores as a sub, and even then he put up decent numbers. Doesn't need a lot of it either. Very good JS, I can't see him dropped even when the cavalry returns. Hopefully he can get another 90+ game and reach $350k.
Only question mark would be the green vest, but doubt he gets it until said cavalry arrives (a few weeks).

I've been ruthless recently with non-playing rookies. Handy Garcia, Howes, and Graham all going OUT the last two weeks.
Sweet will find it hard to get another game now that Soldo is back. No point leaving him in the team. Also frees up F8 with Finnbar Maley to go back to R3, allowing Jackson to cover byes.

RND 12
Sweet > Harrison (LOCKED)

Will use another trade. Likely McKercher to NWM/Sinclair.
Would love to grab Zerrett at his price, but his BYE doesn't suit my team.

Why are people saying Harrison should play rest of year as well. Just because of injuries??

Injuries are how he got in, but he had been a perennial emergency until we lost a few players.
He'll stay in now because he's earned his spot.

Harvey has football smarts, is a fine user of the ball, and loves to apply pressure to defenders.
Had 9 tackles along with his 3 goals over in Perth vs Freo last week.

As for injuries, I think he'll retain his place, even when Elliott returns.
Richards will be the one to apply pressure, but I think it's Harrison's spot to lose.

1-2 weeks
Pendles > Wil Parker
WHE > Ash Johnson

Up to a month
JDG > Fin Macrae
Titch > Bytel
Checkers > Dean/Markov (Howe/Frampton go back)

2-6 weeks
Jamie Elliott > Sullivan

6 weeks
Cox > Dean/Markov (Howe/Frampton go back)

Gone Sweet to TDK for tonights game

I need a cheaper ruck, & I'm keeping Meek through his injury, and I have a feeling that TDK is prime to break out and may dominate around the ground against an underdone soldo

Also, I've been making all the "safe" decisions this year and I'm ranked in the 40k, so it's time to have a bit of fun and take a few risks

See you in the vent thread

Fabulous.

Love it when moves like this come off. Well done!

Cannot decide between Harrison and Sullivan. Help Collingwood fans.

Both good picks as both will play until they max out.
Harrison probably the better JS, but only slightly.

Do you need a MID or FWD more? That's what I'd base the trade on.

Not a Collingwood fan but having watched every pies game and owning both, I'd go Sullivan. Mature age, gets midfield minutes & cbas. They're both good players, I think harrison has a higher ceiling but sullivan will score more consistently. Can't speak much about JS though.

Leaning towards the mature age. Not fussed mid or fwd.

Could conceivably get both. Three price rises to come. Surely one will be maxed out by their Bye.

So is nobody keeping Meek and seeing if he plays next week?
Injury said to be minor.
No bye until rnd 15.
I don’t like English and was happy to keep Meek for now (maybe the season) if he can pump out 100s each week.
I’m so sick of wasting trades on rucks!
Might even keep Sweet for a week, on the slim chance that Soldo goes down again…

I’ve got so many dead/maxed rookies to deal with as well.
I would have held Meek, but my plan was always to trade to Gawn. Would have preferred rd15, but the injury has forced my hand.

Yeah, if you haven’t got Gawn, it’s a no brainer.

I’m still stuck on the Harrison or Freijah trade.
Raveneyes has nearly talked me into Harrison…

That's not a bad idea actually.. Hey, wait a minute!!
What are your thoughts on Dawson? I’m after a mid this week and he’s top of the list but I’m getting cold feet

For what it’s worth in regards to your choices, as a Steele owner I still don’t know if I trust him. So I’d lean towards Rowell and Dale, but I also haven’t traded in Rowell because idk if I trust him either, go figure.

Dawson at 620 is a lot more of a conundrum than Dawson at the 550 odd I got him at, and he's been a bit of a rollercoaster to watch. On the on hand, he seems to be able to pull a good score out of a bad game. On the other, he drops more of those 95/100 games than say Serong.

But I think for you, he's kind of the only big money player you don't have right? Him and Serong?

I guess you could wait a week for Serong, but he's going to drop a bit over the next few weeks so you're probs better going Steele to Serong in Rd 15 yeah? I assume that's what you're thinking anyway.

Your only other real choice other than Dawson is Rowell who is really good value, but it feels Dawson probably scores more than him over the year.

I would probably go Dawson if I was in your position as points on the board are probs better than value from here on
