I know it'll end badly, but I'm genuinely giving some thought to old mate Punchy as he returns to form, as it would allow me to afford Ryan and Zorko for my final two upgrades over the next two weeks. If Greene can go at 85-90 from here, would it really be that much of a loss vs spending an extra 50-100k on the likes of Moore/Curnow? All those F6 candidates are looking pretty similar, and at least Punchy has already had his bye (could get Macrae instead, but that extra 50k could be the difference between Ryan and a defender averaging around 20 points less).

Would leave me with this – I've had my worst season in a decade (currently ranked ~9k), but with Zorko and Ryan added to this side, it could be worse (could obviously be much, much better without the likes of Oliver and Stewart).

Will probably chicken out by the time the weekend rolls around, but worth some thought at least.
Ended up sticking with this. Ryan comes in next week, and Zorko the week after (in the unfortunate event that he's not injured by then).

Go Punchy 🥳

Can you go Sheeze, WDawson and a Gulden?
Yes of course. Can pretty much do anything with the INs. Just a question of the OUTs. Don’t rate Fisher?

Pretty much comes down to Stewart out for any forward or defender or JHF out for any MID.

If it wasn’t for the Byes, I’d almost certainly turf Tom Green instead of JHF TBH.

Absolutely 100% I Don’t rate Fisher... just a never ever player for me.

Don't care even if Fisher had a -200 B/E with a rolling average of 160+

So Stewart out for any forward or defender or JHF out for any MID?

Or do I say **** the Byes and just trade Tom Green? JHF probably a better option than him moving forward IMO.

I can't decide between him and Gulden now
LDU has many faults, but he's M1 for the Roos - no questions about it.
You can't say the same for Gulden

Wouldn't trade out Green.
Off the break, ankle settled down, bye-free, ceiling
He's been shithouse for me, too, but reason to believe he'll have an uptick.
I moved Stewart on, fwiw
Might pick up again, but he's got an established record of 70-90 scores with the he occasional better one.
Unless Holmes gets injured / starts copping attention (might do as early as this week v Jordon), Stewart is probably no better than about 10 other blokes and he has a bye that's awkward for some.

Looked at Gulden, especially off the talk of higher TOG etc., but he's had that most of the year.
Just seems more on the outside this year.
Doesn't mean he can't go high and the price is good.
LDU has been OK over the last month or so and North have been more competitive in general through the middle, I guess
Own him, it's been underwhelming on the whole, but I get why some might have him ahead of Gulden.

Looking at your team... how much kesh ITB?

I'd be looking at pissing off Sweet, Wilson and McKertcher/Clohesy before Stewert.... just IMHO.
