Trades 2024 Round 15 Trades

This week awkward.
Ideal trades for this week would mean spreading cash over up to a 23rd /24th premo and then leaving too much production on the pine on the way home.
Could just play a bare bones 17/18 and hold the trades back for post-byes.
Want to hold Freijah and K McIntosh, but realistically need to grab Kreuger next week, that means no more price rises for one of them anyway.
Could also skip Kreuger, I guess, grab the Eagles looper.
Rambling again, sorry.
Awkward sums it up.

Not many trades left, just get the best players you can on field. Don’t worry too much about 23rd player

Lookin for a cheaper option than Fisher.
Have Heendog,Flanders,Zorko,Rankine and Jackson already.
Can get Fisher, but would need a third trade…really don’t wanna.

Caldwell flying under everyone's radar.
Parish back at some stage won't help him,.but he's OK on pretty low CBAs, he's around the footy
Reckon he's a goer, personally.
Maybe not if people want a really high ceiling type, then go Curnow / Jezza and hope they go full Nick Riewoldt on the run home.

Yeah, might get rid of Steele / Greene for a Serong type, would be another option.
Just reckon piling up a heap of almost premos won't get it done.

I'm holding hoping he can turn things around. I think St Kilda will have a strong end of season and the two weeks off should see his knee improve

If I had your setup I’d probably be looking at getting one of Green or JHF up to Merrett.

Anyone considering TDK for R2? I'm trading out Meek this week. Risk is the blues play Pitto and he becomes backup, but they haven't lost yet this year when he's been rucking solo, and lost 4/6 when Pitto has played. Surely they just stick with TDK? Any Carlton folk want to add their 2 cents?

TDK is having a sensational year, and yes I would definitely trade Meek to TDK - a great POD to have really.

There's always a risk with Pitto, but the club can see the light now and one ruck is much better for our structure. Maybe in a specific game e.g. vs Gawn that we may play two rucks

I reckon a few are underrating the value of a 23rd or 24th premo.

I don't see it that their scores are 'going to waste'.

You can loop them, and that can help you avoid a shit/injury affected/tag affected score.

You can play your F7 over your F6 or M8 based on match ups.

And if you get a 1-2 week injury, you can cover without using a trade and still have 22 premos on the field.

If you go the other way and upgrade the worst player in your best 22, you're kinda putting your eggs in one basket.

I could upgrade say Ridley to Ryan instead of getting Rozee in for Graham, but there isn't actually any guarantee that Ryan outscores Ridley. And if anyone in the whole 22 is short term injured, now it's Ryan and Graham on field versus Ridley and Rozee. I'd personally take the latter option. And will.

P.s. I have 19 premos playing this week and Rozee's BE is still nice and high. No trades
