Ok kenties thinking of doing these trades (boosting of course ;))

Fisher > Billings
N.Martin > Fyfe
Lazzaro > Jordan (via Wilson)

$261,200 in the kitty to go Gibcus > Mass, Sanders > McKercher and Clark > Sharp next week.

I figure that Billings, Fyfe and Jordan will at least match Fisher and Martin and they are way cheaper to boot.

At least in my case for my trades just above, the only way I can get Billings is at the expense of Fisher. It’s reactionary, I know, but I probably have too many north players and Billings will make enough to justify the trade.

Now you mention you won’t get Serong’s 170. You’re 100% right but I’d argue we could be seeing a young player that already took a huge leap last season, ascending to even greater heights. He plays north this week, obviously a favourable fixture, followed by a few harder games before it really starts to open up at round 6. I can see a scenario where Serong gets priced out of us for a large portion of the season. So if that means turning a speculative pick like Martin, into at least a 110 averaging player with the upside to push for 120 (he’s improved every season), then why not? I already have 4 premium defenders, I honestly only started Martin because of fomo.
All very logical. You're in the same boat as me re: Serong, except I'm doing that with Heeney. Perhaps less justifiable because of the bye, but again, every competitive kent will have him and Naicos, so it's only Grundy that matters in that bye, and I have Jackson. 🤷‍♂️

If you had enough bank to do Martin -> Serong straight up, that's obviously the perfect solution. Can't be arsed to do the maths, but it looks close. Just a shame that Rozee is the only cheaper gun mid down to Steele without a bye (Treloar's injuries count as multiple byes). Billings I'm less sold on as a "must have", considering it's really only one game of data and you're not missing much by waiting.

Good to see you here, friend

Team is looking pretty solid. Do you have enough cash left over to do Gibcus to D'Ambrosio? If not, you can probably hold fire this week as you have 22 available and no other def rookies are a pressing selection (could do Gibcus to Hore next week if he goes well).

Could always do Lohmann to T Berry if you're wanting a quick cash grab (or Billings if you have cash) but besides that, you're pretty fine standing pat. Worth giving Martin another week IMO.

4k short on Gibcus > Massimo. I think I do Lohmann > Berry now to free up guaranteed money next week. I kinda want to try big brain it next week and trade Heeney out for B McKay for a silly amount of $$$ generation early in the year too, but that will be a risk if Heeney stays good.

Right with ya kentie.

Where is this configuration from?

I went Zeid because I was $4500 short for Ambrosia.

So I'm thinking of getting him in.

Unfortunately after crunching the numbers I'm still $4500 short.:drunk:
No stress. Ambrosia has only played one game. You can wait until he’s on the bubble next week. Zeid should have risen $0 by then so you might just be okay.

I seriously have no idea at the moment. Maybe Berry and Billngs in for cash
Same. In the last 24hours I've contemplated trading out one, two or three of Sicily, Gibcus, ZReid, Martin, Harmes, Lazarro and Watson and trading in one, two or three of Ryan, Sheezel, McKercher, Massimo, Billings, Heeney, TBerry and Windsor :drunk:

I'll give Mass and mcKech another week of viewing.
Pity they not cheap.

Pity Patty Voss not a def in SC a spot might of opened up in the Freo backline .

One of Hore,Coff or bits of Pink or hoping for someone else to replace ZReid.
Cox will push back, so there is an opportunity for him...

Waiting on some more data for 1 game rookies is the safe play, so many times people have been burnt by bringing in rookies early
Yes true .

Sucks more so the sub can come from the 23 picked at selection table ..
