Trades 2024 Round 4 Trades

Billings > Darcy
Gibcus > Brown
Coffield > Draper

Started with Green, Miller & Flanders. Targeting Gulden & Oliver after their byes.

I have Wines Dawson Jordon Berry

Berry to Darcy is locked in, leaving me with 220k

My original plan was to trade Wines to Touk and then pocket 140k

However I’ve been thinking

Wines is averaging 95 rn and has scored 3 consecutive 90s and has 4 of his next 5 at AO. Is there a point in trading him? He hasn’t done anything wrong he just has a really low ceiling

Dawson I originally was going to hold but after seeing the stat about no 120+ scores with Crouch in the side I think I may need to jump off. Can make him any premo (I prefer Touk cause of price. But I hate trading premos

Jordon. I could trade him to Flanders this week. BUT they play WC this week, could be scoring 100+. Should I just wait a week?

What do you guys reckon?

I have two options this week which I am torn on.

Option A

Wines to Green

Option B

Rankine to Flanders

Who would be the bigger priority? Green or Flanders?
Green a bigger priority to buy, Rankine a bigger priority to sell. Tough one, haha.

LDU > Green
Billdick > Darcy
Jordon > Flanders

5k spare. Nice!

Fisher (bye kent) > Darcy
LDU (bye KENT) > Green
Dean > Bramble

Team feels a lot better. Sick of backing in underperforming premos and Green gets points for scratching his arseh*le these days so LDU > Green should work in the long run.

more LDU trade outs please - need him to bounce back

Both Heeney and Jackson present risks.
Jackson with Darcy returning.
Heeney with his injury history + the chance he moves forward.
Jackson plays the extra game and also give ruck cover round 5 and 6.
Jackson for me just
On reflection, LJ also makes sense for me because he can cover Grundys R2 spot during the swans bye.

Out: Coffield Wines & Jordon
In: Draper Steele & Darcy

Might even keep Coffield until Worner comes back or another DEF rookie pops up if Bowes is named. it's only best 22 this week then best 18 again for a couple and I'll be able to move Khamis to DEF in a few weeks. Wanted to keep Wines but can't with his TOG being so low.

Green easily IMO. In rare form and most decent sides will have him. 100% a keeper. I’m still not convinced on Flanders TBH. Haven’t played a decent side yet. Can wait and get him later.

Rankine isn’t THAT disastrous. Averaging 82, which isn’t too shabby for a forward. Would have him 18th highest last year. Even now he’s at 22.

Wines, however, is the 40th highest MID, which is where he’d be on last years final standings as well.

Tough times… rookies mooing and don’t think I need to do anything crazy. Maybe just Coffield for Draper to bring in some more cash gen

If the rumours of him getting fwd dpp are true that would turn him into top 6 fwd though

Wines hopefully scores better against better opposition mids being the slow moving contested beast he is. More stoppages helps? His numbers are good, just need CD to reward it.
