Rucks against Essendon (Goldy) have been sucking balls this year. It's the reason I went Grundy to Meek over English this week. Thought I could bring him in cheaper later. Also got Billings to Martin with the extra coin.

It's because we're playing 2 first rucks who work well together in Goldy and Draper. I was thinking of Grundy to English this week and chose Meek because of it also. Such a huge win from a SC perspective

I have to agree. English is a great SuperCoach ruck but he’s not an elite afl ruck. Most Dogs fans would like to see a Darcy and Lobb combo. Any club that throws a $1m at English is crazy.

BE around 50. Next 4 games look good, Saints, Dockers, Hawks and Tigers. Think he can get back on track and keep rising. Just had a rest, so he'll be fresh for next week.

I was ready to boot him too but I don't mind this perspective (though I wouldn't argue Dockers in Perth looks good for him). Absolutely must get him off field though I think he's a good rookie option to loop where possible because he can score quick. Easy enough next week with him having the first game of the round but then he stays late which is annoying.
