I hear you. Many of us have no cover back there. I was forced to play Howes there at D6.
Was going with Clohsey at D5, but switched my Parish trade-in to McKercher instead to solidify my DEF.

INB4 Crazy Clarko moves McKercher to the forward pocket and has 65% game time.
