I must be having a fever dream seeing people consider Naismith, haha. Got to consider his knees are made of paper mache. He must've been on our list close to a decade and I'd be surprised if he played more than a dozen games because he always had injured knees.

Also, I was pretty keen on Xerri, but have rejigged my side a little to get Marshall instead. Just looking over Xerri's numbers from last season, he doesn't seem the type to produce decent scores, even despite going it solo this season.

Naismith at 123k though changes a lot of care factor about injury issues.

Strange comment. $123k rookie who is first ruck going into the season due to Nank being injured. Almost silly if you don’t get him for most.

+ We will know if he's picked for his second game before lock out. If he's picked he's a gift.

So we can still trade up to lockout before R1 without actually using the trades effectively? Love that.
Yep. R0 rookies will be like gold. We get a good viewing of them in r0 then get to see if they are picked round 1. On the bubble the after the following round.

I was only questioning his durability. Of course he's a great option with Nankervis out. The problem is stringing a few games together, his injury record unfortunately speaks for itself. He must've done an ACL 3 or 4 times and had loads of other issues with us, but it seems like his body held up last year which is promising for him.

There is no other ruck playing rookie. Minimal risk either way, with great money making potential if he stays on the park for 5 weeks.

Conway probably the other one but at $180k and less scoring due to sharing ruck most likely with Stanley.

Naismith a tough call at this stage, giving up a Rd 1 captain loophole, 20K and a ruck/fwd DPP link for someone who could be gone in Rd 2. Need a bit more info closer to lockout

I'll happily give up a Round 1 captain loophole if I have the chance of making 200k profit from Naismith.

I don't need the ruck/fwd dpp link because I'm not taking Jackson.

Ruck rookies have been absolute gold in recent years. Make the most of it I say!

100% you'd give up one VC score for that cash. Rucks make their money fast too.

I swear to God, this campaigner NEVER finishes a game he starts.
You're nuts if you pick him.

He'll burn you every time and cut your team to shreds. As if it's not hard enough playing SC, he'll haunt you in your dreams too.

And...He cannot be trusted around the showers at all!!!

Having characters around the team can be good but he's the son of 100 maniacs and just not the vibe you're looking for.
I will grant that he has a wicked sense of humour and his one liners, although corny, can be pretty funny.

Also, keep the the **** away from family day.

Everyone would, but Nank would need to be out long term for that to happen. There's a chance he is gone by Rd 2. Need a bit more info but if Nank looks uncertain it's a pretty simple play

Hopefully the new injury reporting guidelines will provide some clarity.
