The trouble with this view is that you would never be able to joke about anything bad because someone else might find it offensive. However, the simple fact is that nearly all humor is about something bad, which is because most of the world uses humor as a shield and a crutch to cope through bad times. I watched my brother on his deathbed still joking about his condition in his last hour of life, and I admire that strength to this day.

The simple fact is that joking about something in no way condones that thing, in fact in most cases it’s the opposite. The understanding of context seems to have become a lost art since the advent of texting and emojis, but I honestly believe that humor is one of the great aspects of humanity, and our ability to laugh when things are at their worst is a true strength of the human race.
If your wife daughter or son had been sexually assaulted, you would absolutely not have that opinion. There is NO context in which joking about someone who has r*ped and brutally assaulted people for over ten years is funny. Tell me, please, how any of these comments are funny?

One comment: Robbery? I feel like I just witnessed a Diddy party.

Another statement: At least Diddy supplied lube....

And yet another: Baby Oil is not really the best option.

I’m not asking you not to have jokes about things, but SOME things are a bridge too far.

It's poor taste for sure, but fines and suspension.... no

We can't, there's no contract structure or responsible price that would rule out the 3 teams ahead of us. He could refuse to meet, do medical, have his agent hang up on their List Manager though.
Its all on the girlfriend as she 'could' refuse to move to Perth or Melbourne and Peatling tells those clubs he will be travelling midweek to spend time with her. Make it seem like real hard work to take him. I am sure there are enough ways it could be engineered from the players end without directly stating he won't go to x or y club

He's allowed to say he'll sit out if they take him, nothing wrong with that at all. But he won't sit out, he'll suck it up, play his absolute best and do it all again next year.

So if Peatling does to go to the PSD how do we guarantee him?
Presumably the reason he chose us was because we made him the best offer, in terms of salary and length of contract.

If he specifies those conditions in his draft nomination form, then there's a reasonable chance that Norf, Weagles and Tigers won't gazump us in the PSD.
