See, this is the thing. I am ASKING for people to THINK before they post. Things like this are incredibly upsetting for those of us who are survivors. It is no laughing matter. There is absolutely nothing funny about any scenario in which an adult predator has been charged with brutal sexual assaults and exploitation of men, women and minors. That you think it's perfectly fine to make jokes about the situation says so much more about you.

I'm very much on your side here.
At first, it sounded like a bunch of overly rich idiots carried on and got themselves in trouble. But the more you read and the more you understand what was really happening, this is about a predator and the people who encouraged, enabled and joined in.

Would anyone here, knowing that Draper is likely to be there at pick 4, entertain a pick swap with Richmond where we take on more picks? Would mean cutting a contracted player to fit the extra pick in (unless we manage to convince Richmond to take Butts or Berry).
Richmond have 6, 10, 11, 18 & 20 that could be worth playing with.

The trouble with this view is that you would never be able to joke about anything bad because someone else might find it offensive. However, the simple fact is that nearly all humor is about something bad, which is because most of the world uses humor as a shield and a crutch to cope through bad times. I watched my brother on his deathbed still joking about his condition in his last hour of life, and I admire that strength to this day.

The simple fact is that joking about something in no way condones that thing, in fact in most cases it’s the opposite. The understanding of context seems to have become a lost art since the advent of texting and emojis, but I honestly believe that humor is one of the great aspects of humanity, and our ability to laugh when things are at their worst is a true strength of the human race.

Because there are so many clubs which now have ex-Richmond people as their list managers.
