Nah the bond one is right. The borlase one is wrongInteresting that Bond is signed for 1 year only. I wonder what side of the negotiation pushed for that
It kinda feels like it probably coming from his side, a 1 year deal for a 19 year olds who is holding his spot feels pretty weird as a list management call

About as quality of a source as you can have around these parts. I reckon that is a done deal then. NO LONGER the Henley Beach Cafe - it is 2024 the year of the Mt GAMBIER BAR!Whispers suggest we put a 7 year deal in front of Luko no idea on value though or if he wants to accept it.

can we stop this 'wont be murphy' stuff. I am very happy to take your money on a wager that ANB replaces Murphy in round one assuming no injuries to small forwards to start the year.Further to this - if we bring in the 3 players - and I hope we do - Schoenberg, Jones, Pedlar and I doubt Milera play in round 1
Otherwise who are they replacing? And it wont be Murphy
hang on. arent we trying to do the same thing? bring a F1 into 2024 as this draft is apparently much better? why donwgrade pick 4 in the first time for many years a top tier mid will definitely be available at this pickThought bubble. North looking at bringing their F1 into play to get another good pick in this draft
Could we split our pick 4 for a later top 10 pick (ie with Freo) for eg 9 & 17? then look to try and swap 9 and say our F2 for norths F1. We use 17 to go after Dodson or any of the mids that slip in this draft and have our F1 and North's F1 next year to make a play for Sharpe. Norths F1 'could' be pick 2 next year and our own 'could be a top 5 pick on its own
Just trying to think outside the square on how we can still remain relevant in this years 1st round and offer enough of an incentive to acquire North's F1

FUTURE PICKS UP FOR GRABS
NORTH Melbourne is among the clubs open to putting its future first-round pick on the trade table to land another top pick in this year's draft as teams clamour for high end talent.
The strong regard for which recruiters hold the 2024 draft crop has been further exemplified by most clubs expressing they are open to using their future pick to buy into this year's first round.
The majority of clubs are open to either adding an extra first-round pick or attaining a first-round pick in this year's draft by using their future pick as a trade chip.

The Roos are understood to be among them, having put forward a future first-round pick for Port Adelaide star Dan Houston.
North Melbourne holds pick No.2 at this year's draft, behind Richmond at No.1. The Roos have used 10 first-round picks in the past four drafts, including seven in the past two years for the likes of Harry Sheezel, George Wardlaw, Colby McKercher and Zane Duursma.
Only Jason Horne-Francis is no longer at the club from that group of Roos' first-round picks as they piece together a talented young group. – Callum Twomey

Good points, I would add that whilst the club thinks we are done with the draft, what is becoming obvious is that we aren't, because the list isn't good enough, and many on here realise that even if the club doesn'tThe bolded is absolute bollocks and is the problem with posters like you, take a handful of comments and label the board with them.
Facts are of we give pick 25 for AWB it’s overpaying, of that there is no doubt.
Most are saying getting Luko but leave pick 4 alone, you disagreeing with that?
But somehow you’re justifying club employees protecting their positions by bringing in players to give us a rise up the ladder which won’t help us win a flag. They’ve given up on the draft because they are blaming inexperience and not the the dud coach they’ve re-signed early who they now are trying to get someone to baby sit.
And you see nothing wrong with this and your issue is posters? You might want to look at yourself first.
Hopefully someone who can listen to the coaches plan and then sayWhat the hell is a director of coaching?

Doing that was aimed at Sharpe next year while trying to keep in the 1st round this year, but it was just a thoughthang on. arent we trying to do the same thing? bring a F1 into 2024 as this draft is apparently much better? why donwgrade pick 4 in the first time for many years a top tier mid will definitely be available at this pick
A big NO from me
They should just read this board thenHopefully someone who can listen to the coaches plan and then say
"That's a stupid idea" before it's actually implemented.
Tom Morris claiming we are looking for a director of coaching to support Nicks but we have been unsuccessful so far
Also that all of Burns, Van Berlo and Hombsch are contracted for 2025 and that Nicks will continue
We are sitting on a big floating turd and it can't flush itself. The coaching group lack imagination & don't have strategic smarts... yet Nicks was extended 2 years... so that is on the decision makers of the club who also need to go.
The best change imo is to move Nicks to Kelly's role, sack Kelly, Burns & Godden.
No from me. Pick 4 needs to be kept to use on the best mid available. We finally have the chance to draft a potential gun mid and we need to keep it.Thought bubble. North looking at bringing their F1 into play to get another good pick in this draft

Yeah sure .....Buckley is going to salary sacrifice to move from VIC to SA .....these media guys are on easy street, NOW !! .....but the TV industry shakeup will see those numbers reduce .....it's like a fat cat presentlyBuckley has always spoken positively about the Crows list, particuarly the last couple of years. Maybe we're throwing the kitchen sink at him for this director of coaching role, possibly with the intent he slots in as coach if Nicks started next year terribly.

Or when he suggests to play Curtin as the sub again. He's the guy that'll do this when Nicks suggests things like playing super tall against Hawthorn.
