Serong on Marshall - in form VFL star against an out of form and fitness Marshall

Weddle on Dixon - Dixon can barely jump so Weddle will have him well covered in the air and will be able to run off him all day.

Scrimshaw on Georgiades - Scrim best placed to take their most dangerous forward in the air.

Sicily on Esava - Their weakest forward who is awful at reading the ball in flight. Sic will have a field day.
It's not 4 talls like there trying to portray it's 3 talls and a hybrid tall. 2 absolute giraffes who move like treacle in Dixon and Esava. Marshall at his best is arguably their most dangerous forward but hasn't been on the park much recently. There backing their midfield to get it down there with speed frequently enough that it will eventually overwhelm us back there. Hasn't happened much since before/after the Geelong match so good luck.

Only contagious if you are pregnant I think. We should be ok.
Contagious if the exposed person (in this case Geelong player) has never had chicken pox/ vaccination for same. Pregnancy is issue in that if mum isn’t immune can cause significant foetal complications

Wow if he had shingles and they let him play then that would be a serious breach of safety for the players both port and cats, it's like the blood rule. Especially if it's contagious... imagine if a cats player contracted chicken pox...
May not have known if he was only sore before the rash appeared

Georgiades is their best forward, reckon Sicily will want to take him.

Serong - Marshall
Scrimshaw - Dixon
Weddle - Esava
We are trying not to have Sicily play on the oppositions best forward. Otherwise he has to defend too much.

May sound odd, but we need Serong & Scrimshaw to play more defensive roles on their main keys to provide Sicily and Weddle a bit of freedom.

In the end, they will all rotate / hand over, but if Georgiadis is their main “lead up” target, Sicily is the last bloke who will go with him.

Midfield brings the pressure, results in rubbish PA inside-50s, and we walk it out of there like Harlem globetrotters. We win easily.

But if midfield gets overwhelmed, and PA inside-50s are dangerous, to a forward line whose only strength looks to be pack marks, then we may have a problem.

Simples - Midfield needs to deliver (As they have been).

Prediction
- zero productivity tomorrow
- moments of tightened sphincter, followed by
- 6 goal win, and off to NSW.

My guess is that Scrimmers plays the deepest forward most of the time. Weddle will share some. Serong will play third and sic will intercept across the HB line. Unless the deepest forward is troubling us then scrim and Sic will switch roles.

people calling for Phillips to be in the side clearly have not been following BHH. Go watch the replay of that disaster of a final two weeks ago, you can't pick a bloke who is, at this stage, struggling at VFL level. This obsession with height is laughable, our best defender is 188cms and has obliterated Mason Cox continually in one-on-ones despite being 24cms shorter than him.

The same Phillips that was just named in the VFL team squad of the year? He’s had a great season playing the deepest defender role.

Phillips had a terrible, awful final. You don't pick a bloke for an AFL final on that form.
He may well end up ok, I thought his one game was decent.... caveat, I watched the replay last night and even when we got to 41 points up after the Mackenzie goal, that side looks and plays quite different to the current side, we still had the stagnant back-end movement back then.
I would imagine the biggest problem for Phillips at this point is staying on the list, with Battle and Barrass incoming, and Blanck returning from injury. His plodding performance last week won't have helped.
