So what annoys me most out of this is that Brady on one had says he can see some really good options for us if we split our first round pick yet on the other hand it sounds like we're sitting back waiting for other clubs to present our options to us rather than going out there chasing them.
There's a week to go. We have 2 and a F1 on the table to split either, maybe both.

darling and Parker and what we hold is a good position - other parties are going to get desperate before we do

We offered our 4th rounder knocked back Sydney want our second lol knocked back, its nothing more then a chest beating dick measuring contest atm.
You don’t play the dick measuring chest beating games when a veteran that has given you nearly 300 games of top line service asks for a trade to extend his career.

There is a reason these deals usually get done quickly for late picks, it’s usually out of respect for the player and what they have contributed to your club.

The fact that this egotistical w***er sees it as a dick measuring contest probably says a lot about the individual.

Time for Clarko to get on the phone to his mate Horse and work it out without involving a knobhead.

That’s the strange move. I can’t see the eagles being happy to deal even for 2x F1’s.

Barass would have put them in the premiership picture imo. May have shot themselves in the foot.
Might even be worse than that.

If he doesn't land after being wooed by them, Managers may be wary to deal with them in the future knowing their players could be left at the altar.

We've got up until the draft and draft night to split or trade futures.
I think we'd be waiting on Freo for 10/11, Bombres pick 9 or Tigers if we were to use our F1.
Bombres probably don't need to trade out until they get a bid for Kako on draft night.

Richmond knocking back the pick slide for Baker is interesting. Presumably, West Coast offered their pick 3 for Baker and pick 6 (which Richmond will get from Gold Coast for Rioli) and no doubt some other pick swaps later. That Richmond were not interested in moving from 1 and 6 to 1 and 3 is informative. They'd rather stick with 1 and 6 and then get a pick around 10 or 11 from Freo for Baker. They seem to be stockpiling as many first rounders as possible rather than going for less picks but at the pointy end. It has to temper hopes that they might want our 2 in exchange for their 6 and something else.
Dumb by Richmond

Out of all the trades out there, that would have been the most logical. But I think we all know by now this period isn’t about anything other than chest beating and oneupmanship.
It's bizarre. Seems like the posturing f***wit vacuum caused by the absence of Dildoro has sucked all the other list managers in.

They may have to mint 18 Trade Week Premiers medals this year.
