Gotta be the most unnecessarily drawn out trade negotiation.

North: How about a 4th rounder?

Swans: No, how about a 2nd rounder?

North: No, how about we meet in the middle with a 3rd rounder?

Swans: Ok.

Was always going to be that, could have been done Monday. Of last week.

I see the Houston trade as critical for two reasons:

1. Maybe outside of Bolton, he's the best player available this year. Nabbing him despite the overtures of "bigger clubs" would be a massive coup, even if we need to pay overs;

2. I see Houston as a key piece of retaining LDU. I don't see the point of going to the draft again when this guy (with Parker on top) is immediately 2-3 wins more. We don't do it, another rebuilding year could be the end of LDU and maybe some others start to question. I'd do F1 and this year's 2nd rounder.

Then Trade radio wouldn’t be able to play 16 ads per minute and the whole period would last a day…

I'd hope that we have correctly identified that 44 is a good pick to keep and are instead haggling over futures.

Bolton is massively over rated.
His kicking is worse than simpkins.
Flashy but really not that good.

Gee every club seems difficult to work with this trade period. All these negotiations where it sounds like every club is only settling on significantly winning the trade.

The dogs for certain.
Every player they are losing they are expecting overs.
Smith for a pick in the top 10
Macrae for 27
Daniel for 25.
It's all bluster
