And your club spends the better part of two weeks trying to wring every drop they can out of the club at the bottom of the ladder.

After seeing how the Houston deal was done, I’m going to back it in that the Parker deal gets done with whatever we decide is a fair offer.

The Swans can’t match a 3 year deal nor the salary, if Sydney don’t release a 31yo stalwart who has played significant VFL, the AFLPA and managers will come for them.

Konstanty is a genuine athlete, he is still very young so there is some upside there. He had some seriously good games in his draft year.

Gippy Roo why do you think he was so far down the pecking order at Sydney? Homesick? Injury? Or is it true they put a line through him after the Mills incident?

Seems weird that Sydney would put a line through a 20 year old kid they spent some serious draft capital on.

Either way he is a welcomed addition to the list if he does indeed come across.

Sydney has one the best small forwards and forward lines in the comp. Difficult to break into. He had a few injuries over the last couple of years. This impacted his consistency and confidence. He had a fair few good runs of good games and was named emergency on a number of occasions but just couldn’t put it all together unfortunately. He has had surgery on his foot and is well into his rehab and he is very confident of putting his niggles behind him and making an impact for us! Swans weren’t happy with the Mills accident but never put a line through him but also understand he needs greater opportunities so are happy to let him come home.

Building through the draft does not lead to success.
Its a numbers scenario.

You are only meant to get 1 first rounder in once a year and you need to build a list of what? at least 8-10 of them minimum to challenge for a flag.

Our issue is how old is LDU going to be until he's sick of waiting?

Our inability to land free agents and sell the club is going to be our undoing. One way or another.
This whole trade free agency period is another fail for the club. Yes some of it out of our control but the clubs only as good as the list it put together.

Thats strange cause i am a big believer that the draft if exactly the way to get success and if you do it like we have sustained success. Maybe i have been wrong all this time.
