So you believe no matter what we finish bottom 3 next year?

Even with a good draft and trade result?

It would be a miraculous turnaround to get anything more than 5-6 wins next year which would still most likely see us in the bottom 4.

Again, someone like Houston would barely move the needle for us. He had a good year but is being severely overrated.

but what about if Houston is combined with Parker, Darling, Konstanty and maybe 1 other coming across as well?

We brought in Logue, Shiels & Tucker in one off-season and it didn't do much for us. They may improve us somewhat but thinking that adding two players at the end of their careers, a guy who hasn't even played a game yet, and a HBF will jumpstart our performances by a significant amount is wishful thinking IMO.

If we trade a top 3 pick it should be for a match winner.

The way we've picked for the last ten years I think we should be happy with a dual all Australian at the peak of his powers.
