I totally agree, but I imagine that a Cat B rookie would need a fair amount of development resources, and that we simply cannot afford the money.

If that's not the case, as you say, what we're doing makes absolutely no sense.

Add CCJ of players “recruited” from another club and each and every one of them has had Rawling’s involvement. It’s his list now and by and large it stinks. :stern look

Everyone here was applauding the club for getting Stephenson for nothing... Also all those traded in players are on average coin...

Corr seems to be the angriest out there when there is a mark inside d50. he's shite, but he cares, does that mean he should be played according to your "care" requirement?

Bottom line is in recruiting hindsight is 20/20. What looks like a great pickup can turn crap, what seems like a trade we lost turns out we won (I remember everyone here was livid that we basically traded out greenwood for Higgins).

Every team has fringe players. Can you lot be realistic and understand a team can't be filled with guns. Not only is it not possible but often it doesn't work as the team isn't balanced with offense and defense.

If it was a straight swap for buslinger would be all for it. With this year's draft having mids in the top end could then take a replacement mid for Phillips early if it suits

Our recruitment of players outside of the draft has to improve. Track record in the last decade has been garbage. After Higgo, Waite - I can't think of a single player that has become or we can reasonably expect to become an A grader? Logue maybe?

Corr and Polec must be league-best flops.

Jed, Ahern, Hrovat, Hall, Pittard, Tyson, Bonar, Atu, Stevo, CCJ, Tucker, Fisher, Stephens.

Leave alone A graders, there's hardly even a dependable role player in that list (outside of Fisher).
