I'm thankful to the Eagles for saving us from paying way too much for Baker. I'm also reserving judgement in case we end up paying 10 and 11 for Bolton. That would be at GCS levels. I do think Bolton will be an excellent pickup though.

If we pay 10 and 11 it’s not the end of the world. But it would be nice to stay ahead of wce in the draft in case Bo Allen is available. The last thing I want to hear is how WCE drafted “a gem right under the noses of Fremantle” and suddenly the narrative is how savvy WCE are.

Our bobcat operator is a massive west coast fan. He yelled "F#$%" super loudly, parked it and said he's going to the pub.
We haven't seen him since, so I think he's genuinely that furious about this trade.

What a genius move by West Coast, you could use Pick 3 and have a chance to draft The Next Matt Owies or you could just trade Pick 3 and get the real thing!

Am I small minded enough to quote myself weeks ago saying Richmond had no incentive to do a quick deal and all the posts decrying it and countering it would be done quickly without fuss? I mean yes. But I am also lazy.

You would think West Coast would have more respect for pick 3 in a super draft.
For some perspective, Owies would not get a game at Freo.
Neither would most of WCE's current list. At least they're consistent.
